The Most common rrod or rdod is tha that your AV gets a bad Connection or that the motherboard swells up or so called gets folded by unecessary amount of heat! So try to not block any fans and make sure your AV cord and connections aint floppy :)

I dont have the Red Circle of Death, but my 360s gotten loud as fuck. I got a refurbished 250GB 360 beginning of this year, up to this point its been running really nicely. Its only really loud when I play games, it still runs really quietly when I watch DVDs and Live. Sometimes with a few DVDs some black box comes up in the lower center portion of my screen and Im positive its not my tv. Is the noise and box something I should be worried about?

Before I turned it off I toched it and it was not even warm. @Datorrn no it gives a message for about 5 seconds and blares the fan full blast and wont let you shut it off (stops responding to buttons) , its loud enough that if you can hear the beep then you hear the fan , the only thing thats ever gon wrong with the 4gb one is that it eats disc`s like it was made for it , they should have put foam in ti to not scratch the disk and also they made the disk tighter to the top and the tray (smaller buffer zone) without acualy making the drive smaller wtf?
