  • On this date in 1971 {Jan. 30th} "Have You Ever Seen The Rain" entered Billboard's Top 100 chart; eventually it would peak at No. 8 and spent a total of 10 weeks in the Top 100!!!

  • @godisdeadagain Thank you for your condolences. My old man was 52 when he passed. I do hope you live longer than that to create that kind of memories with your boy. Even though you did not have those memories with your father I can imagine it's equally great to have them with you son. Fathers are every boys' rolemodel, especially if you're a good man.

  • Thumbs up if ur here cuzz of dexter!!

  • Ahhhh... justo en el momento perfectoo!! Amo esta canción!!! =D

  • MEMORIES regardless of my age THE 90'S even if it isnt 90s music LOL

  • Not sure if anyone is going to see this but my dad died two days ago. It was a heart condition of some sort and his death came out of the blue. We used to listen to CCR all the time in his car when we were driving around just the two of us. Even long before I was born my brother told me that my dad listened to Creedence when the cassette tapes were in cars. He always rewinded the tapes before he started driving the car. I'm 17 years old and this song will be played in his funeral.

  • @MrPartylioN OMG so does my father hes a huge fan we listen to them all the time that is music im sorry for what happend to your father =( bless your heart

  • @MrPartylioN - I'm going to be 50 in 3 weeks and wish I had those memories with my father. I never knew him until one yr b4 he died in 2003, because I grew up in children's homes and foster care...My son is 11 and plays guitar...We're creating those memories together...He will never know what it's like not to have them...Hope you remember them fondly and forever, then one day repeat the scene for your children...Best wishes and my condolences.

  • @MrPartylioN your brother told you BEFORE you were born.lol.

  • @gailmckennag Ultra literal interpretation is ultra literal.

But I know this is gonna be similar when my dad is gone. Man, we listen to Bob Segar, CCR; all the classics. I hope I don't end up on a deployment when he passes: I won't ever want to miss his service/funeral. The only person in the house I'm really close to and I hope I can smile afterwards when I hear this stuff.

  • @MrPartylioN sorry to hear that. my brother died in June and whenever I hear songs he liked I just have to smile.

  • @MrPartylioN I am so sorry that you lost your dad. It hurts more than anyone can tell. He had a pure heart if he loved this music. Play on dear.....feel close to him that way.

  • @MrPartylioN Sorry to hear of your loss,my dad had a friend, Pat Brown. When his father died they went to a bar and he put a hundred dollar bill on the piano and told the piano player if he knew the song that his father enjoyed told him play it back to back till the hundred was up There was another guy in the bar and when he told the piano player "hey buddy don't you know another song" Pat beat the crap out of him and threw him out of the bar, so keep play'in CCR's music you got a lios heart

  • @MrPartylioN God bless you child, sorry for your loss.

  • @MrPartylioN Sorry about that man..is hard..

I always remember my father with this band. specially this song..

A drunkdriver killed my old man..

  • @MrPartylioN I AM VERY SORRY ABOUT THAT. THAT IS THE SADDEST COMENT I HAD EVER SEEN

  • @MrPartylioN I'm sorry about your lose.

  • @MrPartylioN sorry for your loss. just remember ... when some1 dies they always are right there next to you

  • @MrPartylioN

My Grandpa died five years ago and they played this song for him. Nice song

  • @MrPartylioN damn i feel so bad for you

  • @MrPartylioN My condolences.

  • @MrPartylioN Sorry about your loss.

  • @MrPartylioN sorry for the loss man. losing any family member is rough but your dad is tough. hang in there bud. he would want you to be strong.

  • It makes me cry...

  • Man, this guy just has "the voice"...LOVE CCR forever!

  • this is one of those songs and groups (ARTISTS) that earns the music industry the right to call themselves "artists", not like the yokes (performers/entertainers) today. 21,571,483 have their own mind and not spoon fed rubbish on the radio, humanity 1 monkeys 0

  • @slumpgamer ! Они не видели дождь, потому что они- дурачки! Это-музыка моей и всех моих однолеток молодости. Зайди на мой канал и вспомнишь как мы зажигали!

  • Someone told me long ago there's a calm before the storm,

i know; it's been comin' for some time.

when it's over, so they say, it'll rain a sunny day,

i know; shinin' down like water.

    Chorus: ♫♪

  • I REMEMBER LISTENING TO ALL THESE SONGS WHEN I WAS LITTLE AND MY DAD USED TO PLAY THEM ALL THE TIME ESPEIALLY IN THE CAR .. I MISS THOSE DAYS WAKING UP AT 7 IN THE MORNING ON A SUNDAY LISTENIN TO CREEDENCE AND THE ALLMAN BROTHERS

  • no autotune here love old music with actual talent

  • im 17. and how i wish i was born when all this good music was made. Music nowadays sucks ass. -____-

  • @nenos321 Just look outside the box, it isn't just lady gaga and rihanna all over, you'll find lots of less know amazing artists today :-)

  • @Fragment87 yea i kno (: but its not the same get me?

  • @nenos321 I understand you, just wanted to let you know, that you can still learn to love today's music just as much ;-)

  • @nenos321 dam right it does

  • @nenos321 HERE HERE young dude! Im 38 and wished I was born back then too. Being born in the 70's I grew up with the 80's music. Still 80's music is great and much much better then music today. But the 60's and 70's for music was the most amazing!

  • @Oldbasstard4 MUITA LINDA ESSA MUSICA

  • @nenos321 you should expand your music culture.

  • @nenos321 and weed was not so frowned uppon lol im 65 and love this song and still live in the grass

  • @nenos321 wrong

  • @nenos321 you are somewhat right

  • @nenos321 You may think it odd, but people said the exact same thing when this music was popular. The good stuff is what survives this long, just wait 40 years and you'll hear the music from this era that is great. Or, if you don't want to wait, look around for it.

  • those top comments are simply a perfect match... the beginning and the end

please don't tumb this up, those should stay up there :)

  • @lxlANDlxl I agree.

  • 15 people have never seen the rain.

  • Funny these guys sounded like they were from the bayu even though they were SF based band lol

  • Why do people get so extreme and assume the worst? I "accidentally" misunderstood a name in my rock n' roll history class and thought I would try to help with the title of the song and every one assumes I drink or do drugs...

  • @popeinc because they're on the internet, so they can talk all kinds of shit. you can't see their face and suddenly people have huge swinging balls. no but seriously, I had to google this shit to show my girlfriend because she didn't recognize the lyrics at all. apparently we're all sick twisted fucks who will die by our drug and alcohol abuse. this is inevitable. sucks, am i right?

  • @galagya Wow..well put. People do get very mouthy on the internet and the funny thing is that all the fights ive been in are usually a lot of talk, but when you actually confront someone they make and excuse or back down..I hope not everyone dies from drugs and alcohol abuse, although I have close friends that have. I on the other hand want no part in this demise and am going to keep my head pointed towards pilot training. Thanks for the comment!

  • when I first heard this song in the radio , I though the singer is African-American.

    I am stunned lol

  • 15 people didnt like this...well then get the fuck out..and dont watch real music

  • @bderevlany xD Funneh.

  • The name of this song is "Proud Mary"

  • @popeinc you're sooooo (not) right! :D

  • @popeinc smoke some more buddy.

  • @bderevlany FYI, I have never smoked or done any drugs...someone from a Rock History class had that written down and I must have misunderstood it....

  • @popeinc euhm... no it isnt!! you should drink less buddy XD

  • @popeinc
