$1600 is a very good price for an intel i7 based PC. I dropped $1300 last week for a beast AMD based and i have to import it to Colombia so $350 more lying to customs about the price. You should add a SSD to that rig.

@WildGamerDog no chance! your laptop does not have an i7 CPU, with a gtx 560, that graphics card will not ever fit in a laptop!! a laptop will never be able to cope with the heat as its to small to allow sufficient cooling, your either confused or lieing? that rig will better your laptop in whatever you throw at it :)

dude if you had of bought your pc from pc case gear best prices in Australia and its about 1km away from me :D you could have had your parts for 1100 (just case no monitor or anything) i have a 560ti hawk myself, its a good card but it needs to be under-clocked for bf3 (btw yes im looking at the prices from July)

@lotmein20 Bottlenecking is bottlenecking and it will just get more pronounced as games get more graphically intensive. Nothing can really push a 2500k/2600k to it's limit yet, so the GPU is always the limiting factor. If you're playing BF3, SC2, Skyrim, etc., at max, the 560 Ti will be bottlenecking.

@lotmein20 Proof? Just about every review I see with a 2500k/2600k, the bottleneck is placed on the GPU. Like I said, if you're playing at a low resolution, you're right, the CPU will almost always be your limitation. If you're playing at 1080p+, your GPU quickly becomes the limiting factor, especially with very strong processors like the 2500k/2600k.

@lotmein20 Yes, the 560 Ti will bottleneck CPUs, unless you're running at like 1280x1024 or some low resolution like that. The 560 Ti is a highish end card, but it's not a "very high end card".

xcal each weapon has an alternate fire e.g for hunting shotgun its alternate uses up both barrels at once which is better for taking out stronger enemies

Graphics card. First of all, when you make you PC, try to get maybe a 600w or more power supply, before you blow your computer up. A good rule to buying Graphics cards is

Nvidia:

5xx

The first number denotes age, the 500 series is the newest, so we'll go with that. The next 2 numbers denote power. Some examples:

A 480 beats out a 570.

Also, use Passmark com, and look at their high end GPU rankings, it helps

@UltimateBerserker 4GB DDR5 of RAM might be a little bit under gaming specs. It's overclocked processor can handle more, so I'd go with 6GB if you want really smooth games. But yes, it'll do but if you're expecting it to last, go with 6GB
