This was filmed in late 1977 and it aired in January 19, 1978. New songsfrom this show keep emerging. The set list started with X-Offender, then Detroit 442, then Shark in Jet's Clothing, then In the Sun. On the usual tapes of this show it jumps from X-offender to Little Girl Lies.
@beamerZ The credits at the end of "Youth Nabbed As Sniper" from the same show say, that it was produced in 1978. AFAIK it was broadcasted first in January 1978.
@cbaguns 1. X Offender 2. Little Girl Lies 3. Look Good In Blue 4. Man Overboard 5. In The Flesh 6. I'm On E 7. Love At The Pier 8. I Didn't Have The Nerve To Say No 9. Bermuda Triangle Blues (Flight 45) 10. Kidnapper 11. Youth Nabbed As Sniper This wasn't the complete setlist. They also played Denis, Cautious Lip, Goldfinger, Kung Fu Girls, Contact In Red Square, Rifle Range and In The Sun, but I dont know in which order.
Debbie used to have a 1967 Camero, a guy called Vinnie pushed it of the end of a cliff, after this Debbie felt empty....this is what this song is about. I fancy Debbie so much, words cant describe.
@MattHatter-Debbie Harry had an old, beloved Camaro (which appeared in Blank Generation). It broke down right before Blondie's first tour of England in May, 77 and she gave it to a guy named Vinnie who said he could get it fixed. She returned to NY at the end of the tour feeling down. Then she received a call from Vinnie who told her that the Camaro could not be fixed and that they had pushed it off a cliff to get rid of it. So she wrote this song to express her mood, with "E" meaning empty.
I'm on Debbie

I've wondered what this song is about for over 20 years! Anyone care to break it down for me?

@ihasch: Thank you! It all makes sense now with "E" standing for "Empty."

I'm on E. I'm on E. I gave my car to a guy named Vinnie. I feel like gassin' my feet
They've totalled me and skipped a beat. I used to have a car of my own
