Cool bird. Mine came to me in the desert one day. He stayed nine years till he was murdered by the black cat next door. He would pick my teeth clean for me ; a little gross I know but it would make you laugh so much you couldn't help it. He would sneak up on you. He would stare at me when I was sick as if to say I know your not feeling well not acting normal.This cocky seems to have coppied a sound in his environment.Sounds like a fan motor squeaking and clicking. A furnace perhaps They do that.

lol sounds like a car alarm lol...i use to a cookatiel from 2006-2010 end of summer past..i had to put mines to sleep...sadly i miss its so much..the reason for that is cus well it was a female cus kept talking countiously yelling...and we put it out on the pouch put that was no good..we put up with noise for 5 years..andit wasnt train..and the Owner didnt tell me that it HAD problems.he warn me tho.but it was the only female.he just wanted my MONEY?. The coloring of cockatiels has nearly nothing to do with their gender. I got a cockatiel and thought it was a boy until she layed eggs. The best way to tell is to take the bird to an avian vet and have it sexed.
