Loves: reo speedwagon, kiss, queen, whitesnake, billy joel, Dio, boston, aerosmith, the who, the eagles, the guess who, def leppard, led zeppelin, journey, ect..
Hates: lady(?) gaga, justin beiber, all rap and pretty much anything written after 2000
That figures that it was not written by them since it a hard rocking song that has more balls then any of that slushy mush they were pumping out during their comercial peak.
To their credit they perform it well they should have stuck to being hard rocking sobs instead of infesting the airways with more 80s tinged setiment over laced with syrup and slurp
@MattHutzell The song was not written by REO members. if you read the fine print on the back of the album, there is a little footnote next to the track title saying it was previosly unreleased, written by tom kelly and billy steinberg.
@MattHutzell Actually it was originally released in 88 and was remastered and re-released in 02. The hits came out in 88 and they put 2 new songs on it, this one and here with me.
@CycleMan2200 The year was 1988. Both "I dont want to lose you" & "Here with me" were 2 "new" tracks included on THE HITS album. I know, I bought THE HITS the week it was released in june of 88.
This is a amazing song by a amazing band, I'm not going to lie, I like Boston better, but these guys are fucking amazing and I can't stop listening to this song, its amazing, 5 STARS!!
I'd have to go with REO > Boston, but then again, I've seen REO live and have heard more songs ^^ To each his own though, and yes they are fucking amazing. Thanks for the 5 stars.

@CycleMan2200 It was a track on their Hits album, that came out, not in 2002 as MattHutzell says, but back in 1988.
