Sometimes I think Daigo let his guard down, but if you see, it's just a trick to see what the oponent is make for and, when he's almost dying, make a great humilhation ever :D
besides it's the same thing in Warcraft ff, guy plays same heroes over and over he gets bit on for boring strategy. happens a lot in competitive play, sadly.
Except you are missing the fact that HOW Daigo started the combo, was not the same thing. He used different strategies to start up the combo...once Daigo landed the first hit of a combo, of course he would use the combo that is most effective. There's a big difference between using the same combo over and over and using the same strategy over and over.
