Wong did not like that Bruce was teaching non-asians martial arts and challenged Bruce to a fight. Bruce won in 3 mins and was dissapointed b/c he said he should of beat his much quicker. Wong was way higher than a black belt. Bruce also fought numerous boxers who he knocked out some in the first round. I guarantee he'd knock black belts out in a few moves.
Gotta admit though, the old man was pretty tough in the film. With those glasses he was practically blind. He even kept up with the much younger, faster, and in better shape challenger for a minute there.

Honestly movies back then dont compare to movies now. Look at the very first jackie chan movies then watchhow they transformed as he began doing hollywood films such as Rumble in the bronx, etc.
Everything is so slow back then, step by step choreography. Fight scenes now are far more fluid and faster paced.. for that reason alone, comparing Jet and Bruce is like comparing apples and oranges, and Jet li's films (being more modern) are more appealing.

Bruce Lee is on Icon who is responsbile for the vast spreading of martial arts around the world. Indeed it is amazing the impact that Bruce's charisma, personality and confidence has had on a mass scale regarding Martial Arts. Having said that no Bruce Lee was not a high level martial artist..Shaolin Monks are high level, Bruce Lee was a movie actor but still has earned my respect. and PRODIGY ROCKS haha cant forget that!!!

read the tao of jeet kune do written by Bruce himself, find some footage of the famous long beach competition, read his notes, published in 3 volumes, ask any of his students who are alive today...he was the best. may he rest in peace.

He was faster than the speed of light...lol, pretty close anyway... the producers said that while filming Bruce Lee during movies, they had to ask him to keep slowing down to capture him on film, that's how fast he really was.
