Bill Babbs Travel ElToro, 2 piece breaks down for travel...StainessSteel tip. Threads striped on the handle insert that holds both pieces together after 6 months of use. Still useable, but need to tap the treads. google this......... Oro Toro Travel beach scoop I like it, but they need to refine the handle insert striping, instead of a a aluminum insert, a SS insert would be stronger. Joe

Nice finds, I live off of Ft. Lauderdale Beach Florida and was wondering if you have ever detected there? If so how was it? I am new at this hobby & I just got a Bounty Hunter Quick Silver Today & I am going to see how it works. I didn't want to shell out a lot of money at first. I want to see how it goes first then upgrade later. Hopefully I can find something. lol Thanks

I lived in Naples for 18 years and hunted in the water as well as on land. Not alot of silver found theur. I moved back to Minnesota and find much more here.

Been hunting Fl..think this last time down is my 4th time,my best find was in this video,at FMyres beach..my last trip was 3 weeks ago and just got one small silver ring, it's in the hunting for G&S video at the end. For me, it is the same, just a few good finds. Most of mine are during the Summer on the Delmarva coast. I was able to get one Hunter that is very good in the naples area. Ron Lord, Got Video of ron hunting and some of his secrets of success. Ron has 30 Golds sofar this year!! OBn

When you scoop your target dump in a inflatable pull behind boat fill the boat like that. Then adjust your pole on the detector and cull through the stuff to get your junk and goodies. The more targets you put in the boat the less junk you will hunt in the future and the more goodie targets will be for you in the future. If I lived near a beach I would devote my time to cleaning it up then after I did that I would detect it with fresh batteries real slow to find the older deep targets.

Thank you, If I lived near these beachs I would do that, but I Have to fly into this area so hauling a Floating Sifter along on the flight does not work. Most of my hunting is in ruff waters , the Alantic Ocean so using a sifer would not work there either. Most of the trash there is light so it is first to be carried away by the current. Once and awhile I will find a pull tab or cap and it goes into my pouch....HH Obn

Nice finds! Live in the Naples area here. Went to Lowdermilk this morning 7/26. All I found was about $3.00 in clad coinage and a couple of toy cars.

Thanks Pencilshavings, There were alot of signals that mornig, But I had only 2 hours to hunt...Found a gold? Toe ring there also, Put in my mouth, let the detector and the scoop go to look closer, fell out of my teeth in to the water and could not find it again..So I will be back in late July? OldeBeechnut, excellent video again. Talk about desperate to hit the beach now.... I was in Clearwater, Florida last week, found 4 rings, all junk, and a few dollars in clad. The highlight of the trip was the 6 foot sand shark that came withing about 5 feet of me. I was chest deep (in water)....

Thanks TreasureSD for the postive feedback., Thank God I only saw a baby StingRay in Ft Myers, A Shark would have given me the BIG ONE. Next Vid will be July, Water will be warm up here in the delmarva area and people will start hitting the beach in numbers.

Thanks Vids, Water was warm & Relaxing. Most of the Vid I hunted PP, But FMyers I had to use Disc most of the time. Both PP & Disc were acting up, falsing. Not sure why, salt , Mineralization, Detector etc. Lowered the sen to 3 O clock but ever time I would try & PP hunt or just wiggle it in PP it would false. Discrimation was stabiler so I had to use it . Pulled the Coil cover later, cleaned it. Fine the next day at Cape Coral beach, different beach but it worked..thanks again.. HH......OBN
