You talk a lot about "this is what they give you". For most of us, we aren't "given" anything. The items are a part of those we purchase. I know it is probably just a figure of speech but perhaps change the phrase to be more accurate, such as "these are the items included in the kit".

My skin hated me for a bit too. My derm told me to put a pea size amount of Vaseline on my face in the shower. Leave it on, let water run over your face, and then pat dry. It not only got rid of my flakes, but actually keeps the acne at bay. Seems my skin was breaking out because of dryness and sensitivity. Good luck!

did your clarisonic not clear your skin up or was this review done previously tp the clarisonic review. I don't have acne/breakouts,but I have been wanting to try the clarisonic. My main issues are dry patches, semi oily Tzone and brown spots, uneven skin tone. I hoped that the clarisonic would help with that. What do you think? Oh-my skin is somewhat sensitive, but overly sensitive either. I'd say inbetween the two.

What's better the Temptu system or the Luminescence one in your opinion ?

@Alexxxflt I'd say there's benefits to both. But in my opinion and my choice I'd choose the Luminess system. The Temptu doesn't allow you to mix colors and it just feels like cheap plastic ya know? I like the Luminess packaging and color system of the traditional liquid airbrush makeup you drip in.

@SarahVictor are you talking about the temptu pods? Yeah-those don't really appeal to me either, but I have the temptu s/b foundations w/ Iwata airbrush, which the foundations can be mixed, etc. You could probably use those in your gun also.

i agree, the results were excellent but i have found that the mac studio finish concealer actually causes spots... and i am well past the 'getting spots' stage of my life!! that is just my own personal experience of this product.

Good review. Is the foundation a silicone base. I have the temptu machine (from sephora with the pods) and also the Dinair and I like the finish much better of the silicone based temptu products. This question is a little off subject, but do you think with the dinair system, I could use temptu pro foundation that is made for the temptu airbrush gun machine? Thank you!

@AndreaJuliet IMO, I'd say yes. An airbrush gun is an airbush gun is an airbrush gun. I think they'd all be 'interchangeable' with different makeup products as long as the products are intended for airbrush use. I'd send Dinair an email though, just to be on the safe side. good luck. Sarah, I know you love MAC but just a friendly suggestion the Studio Finish concealer is too emollient to put over blemishes. Its only going to cause more breakouts. Have you tried the Make up For Ever Full Cover concealor its has the same amount of coverage as the one you used but won't make you break out. I have really oily skin that is prone to Acne. I meant this in the best possible way b/c I love you and what you do for us viewers but just wanted to mention it. Cheers!

Also how long did it stay on? is it very long lasting (like brides would look for in their make-up application). I am a MUA as well and have never used the airbrushing system but I have so many requests from people asking for airbrush. Thank you and glad to see you back!

Do you have PCOS? I have some friends with it, and it definitely affects your skin (and weight). If you have it, you probably would know already... but if you're not familiar with it, look it up. Part of the treatment is Birth Control Pills.

@Screwed911 Sure can. I used it with another brand of airbrush makeup and it worked fine (I experimented). Make sure the makeup is AIRBRUSH though -- not sure what would happen to it if it's not, but ehhhh I'd be scared I'd mess up the machine.

I am a hairdresser and I guess you'd say make-up artist(that sounds funnyLOL) because I do all the makeup at the salon I work at! I use the matte formula on all my brides and grads and its wonderful! I love it a lot! It so natural and easy to use it makes the skin flawless!

Can I just suggest Dr. Hauschka's line of products for your skin. Whole foods carries them (because they are all natural products) and you can buy a trial kit for like $25 of all the products to make sure you like them. I am fair like you and I have been using it for about 2 months now and it's amazing how it makes your skin look and feel. :)

Great video! I love the Luminess (Stream Cosmetics) systems too! I personally tried the Temptu in store and honestly was not 100% impressed because it was silicon and I could not mix anything. I LOVE that it is minerals and that I can mix and customize! Just wait till you try the eye shadows! I look forward to trading tips!

@EasyAccessBeauty I think the Matte foundations is just no shine and better for print/film/tv and the Ultra is a satin finish which will give a natural look...I think LOL.

I've been wanting an airbrush system, too. I'm not a makeup artist, but I have oily, acne-prone skin that is very fair and sensitive. Even though my skin is oily, I still get dry spots, so foundation or powder tends to make that more noticeable. This was a great demo, and I definitely think I'll start saving up for one of the systems that is out there (I'm leaning more towards Dinair, but I'll keep this one in mind).
