Hehe I also stopped after my boyfriend told me how beautiful I was without it I was scared at first because of my acne but he told me to let my skin breathe and the pimples would go away... I have no pimples now :) and I only occasionally wear eyeliner on my top lid but I love feeling fresh faced and only having my BB cream under my eyes

I believe makeup is artistic if you wear properly not like a cake layer, I only use eye make up I never put consealer or foundation on well I occasionally wear conscealer if I have dark circles but other than that I only like working with eye make up because I think eyes are the most feaured part of your face and eye love creating a story with my eyeshadow makeup

bubbi, you are so inspiring! My story is very similar to yours! When I was 14, I had my first boyfriend too and I used to cover my face very messily with cream foundation to cover acne. I also thought that the more makeup there was, the more no one would see my real face. But then my boyfriend at that time also came up to me and said "You don't need makeup. You look great without it; natural." and from then on, I tried to clear my skin and I've definitely gotten better thanks to you and more! <3

@SarahZico912 heres the best advice anyone can give..dont wear foundation!! i know its hard but thats the best way to clear your skin of spots. also drink plenty of water to cleanse your skin of excess oil, the cause of blemishes :)..

@tvxxlover1867 i would start off with a coat of clear mascara to just brighten your eyes, i nude eyeshadow and maybe a grey or brown eyeliner, so its not too harsh and sudden. if you want, a touch of blush and matt bronzer will give you a summer glow without being too obvious. hoped i help, this is how i started and my parents were fine. good luck! :) ♥

Another tip; Always use a toner, after you cleanse you're face it is CRUCIAL that you tone or your moisturiser will NOT do any good for you. After you cleanse, your skin loses important oils & toning which has been mistaken for 'opening' pores by many people actually brings you're skin back to the original pH level & readys your skin for your moisturiser. SO U

Just some advice for people with bad acne/blackheads. If you drink about 2.1L a day (water) it will flush out the oils that case acne & blackheads. Don't fall for those product brands e.g. Proactive, Clearasil etc. all they do is fish off people that have low self esteem due to acne, these products don't work, the truth of skin products that are not prescribed from the doctor; all they do is sit on top of your skin, they don't 'clean your pores.' Basically all they do is dry out the pimples on

@SarahZico912 you weren't too young, I was 11. I had loads of blackheads on my forehead and I hated them, thats why I started at that young age. I'm 16 now and my bheads are clearing - about time! - so don't put loads on or it'll clog up your skin. I learnt the hard way and I now wear hardly anything. Foundation, mascara, eyeliner and lipgloss is all I use. :) xxx

@BBbitsy i think you should wear concealer (sometimes), mascara, & a thin brown line of eyeliner on the top lash. maybe some lipgloss, but for really fancy i'd let go of the foundation cos it clogs your pores, & it's not good for your skin. skip blush, you dont need that. im 13 too! uhm i wouldnt wear dark eye makeup other than mascara, tight lining (w/ black eyeliner) & brown eyeliner on top. i would wear a champagne color shadow or gold. ill message you for more (:

I'm 11, Makeup to me is to enhance my perfections that I like the best and conceal my imperfections and to show how I don't worry too much about my appearance like I would use eyebrow groomer for a nice polished face. Then I would use a concealer to coneal dark circles and imperfections. Bubz, You have no idea how much I think you mean to me.
