How can you be an effective member of the House Committee on Science and Technology without experience in areas of technology? It's no wonder that Dave Reichert never got one bill out of committee, even being an ex-sheriff in three different anti-terrorism comittees.
There's nothing wrong with working in technology. Technology can and does change the world, and working in that field is actually excellent training for public service.
Darcy, you sound like every other politician I've seen running for office. Maybe if you'd spent less time becoming rich at Microsoft and more time working with socially-disadvantaged youth or the homeless, you'd stand out for the RIGHT reasons.
Gasp, 'technology' is a training for public service?!?
I strongly disagree. It's about having character and not being a character. This video is another 'cookie cutter' montage.
