I got the first verse and chorus memorized in Japanese. I just start screwing up by the time I get to the bridge. But I think it's going pretty decent.

I haven't gotten around to actually teaching myself Japanese, but I can kind of sing the songs. Aside from a few sounds (ts, ai, ii, and a few others) it's basically the Spanish alphabet... Or at least the Spanish vowels. That helps me because I've taken three years of Spanish. xD

To sing the songs, I just break up the lines phonetically. Like,

Kabocha no basha mo

becomes,

Ka-bo-cha-no Ba-sha-mo

Maybe that'll help?

(And while you break it up, you learn it too.)
