great tone i've been looking into building a bluesbreaker metro doesn't offer a kit anymore only built at 2700.00 what speakers and trannys did you use thanks for your post it just makes me want to follow through with this
I think that wood in the peavey tone you refer too is the reverb. The bluesbreaker doesn't have any reverb. I was actually thinking about doing some low volume clips with the vanamps solemate reverb to show that. It sound very sweet.
Great sound, but what really impressed me was at the beginning your vibrato was so spot on I thought you were playing with a ton of reverb until I heard you let a single note with no vibrato ring. Are you using a double white and a zebra or is the neck pup covered?
You'll be pretty good once you figure out how to put a little soul and emotion into your playing. ;)

Let's take up a collection to send skydog46 over with a drummer. The battle of the ToneKings.
The Peav has a bit more wood in it's tone I think. Can you get this same tone with a lower volume setting..something akin to a bedroom setting?

Thanks. Yes there is no reverb.
The neck is covered and the bridge is zebra (both zebras under the covers).
