  • I love making these its so much fun to launch them out my window

  • what is the size of the drill bit? exact size please

  • sweet car! I tried it and I probably will make a crash scene with the crushable hotwheels. Thanx!

  • this is grait

  • This piece of S*** doesn't even Work!!!!

  • if make alot of them and smash them into each other it is some what fun

  • i remember bying chocolate cars in tin foil and then use the tin foil mold from the chocolate car to crush with my monster trucks . good times

  • Ah, memories. Way back when I had a battery powered Bigfoot that would crush simplified versions of these things. Fun times for sure.

  • lol. i think u got some dents from trying 2 place the tinfoil on the chassy and when u got out the spray paint it slamed the right bumper area.

  • My little cousin has that same Grave digger truck where it crashes and the skull comes crashing out of the roof and yells out "Gave digger Mwahahahaha"

  • how do keep it from falling out

  • thanks dude

  • it works i making a banger racing vid soon

  • ho okay i dont know how then

  • do you have very many monster jam hotwheels

  • @MonsterJamLover1987 I do actually have a LOT of Monster Jams. I am in the process of making a video showing all my Monster Jams. Stay tuned!

  • Suggestion: Use a Hot Wheels car that has detachable top like the Morris Mini and New Beetle Cup. :)

  • If I send you 100 boxes of aluminum foil, will you make a video showing me how to do this on my 96 Impala?

  • more?

  • @JGZILLA98 whoa man im complamenting him calm down

  • @azzaz691 im sorry sir i didnt know you should know i love Canadians so i felt offended. im sorry

  • very tedious

  • a car with screws is a time saver. great job though. like the video.

  • the end was so anti-climatic :( "uh oh, that was fun"

  • if you spray it with erophame(idk the spelling) than the tinfoil will solify and look more shiny

  • your voice rang no convincing "that was fun :S" hahahah like (forever alone t.t)

  • get a job!

  • I like your technic at doing this, but doesn't it seem hard for you?

  • @gabey1111 It is time consuming, that's for sure. But fun too!

  • Can we skip a few steps to make a damageable traffic car? :D I would want to wreck a few of them with REALISTIC damage like on tiny and distructive cars!

  • you ahould try and see if you can get the chassie to crush with the body thats my challenge for you

  • uh oh!

  • Why don't you layer the tin foil so it is easier to do everything

  • you dont need to wrap the tin foil on the chassy just tape it a little

  • I started making tin foil cars when I was about 7 years old or so, and now I'm 22. I smashed probably hundreds of dollars worth of real Hot Wheels as a kid, so I needed a much better solution. Although I never took apart my Hot Wheels, the concept was basically the same. I even cut little slits for the hood! One of the best techniques that I have learned to get a very smooth and realistic look is to slap the tin against the car with the palm of your hand, if you can do so without tearing it.

  • is that the chevelle u used in the demo derby vid

  • ahhh i cut my self

  • hahahaha at the end *dead flat voice* "that was fun." really? :D

  • does it work on others?

  • great movie man me n my five year old brother now do that all the time its awesome iv been wondering if you can crush a car without breaking it thanks

  • good video i can really use this 4 my movie

  • i have one like it!!!!!!!!!

  • LOL, THAT WAS FUN!!

  • OMG is grave digger and its going to crush my car

  • Can you do this with the hot wheels monster jam trucks?

  • Wait, how do you screw back on the rivets again?

  • Check out my next video where I sew home-made clothes for G.I. Joe dolls! hehe

  • It's great to find someone else that does this. I started with foil cars in 1985 when i received my Clyde's car crusher set. Since then i have made hundreds of foil matchbox cars then moved into 1/24 scale cars then up to 1/10 RC cars where I'm currently making an exact replica of a 79 Toyota.

    Great stuff!

  • great tutorial mate, I have tried to do that a couple of times but I really sucked, now it works a lot better with some of your hints. Way not perfekt yet but a lot better. thanks

  • lol at the end uh oh that was fun it didnt make me think it was fun

  • just hot a normal car with a hammer real crush affect

  • Ive always had the idea of doing this. Cool im not the only one. Hotweheels should do this.

  • @riverdave7 i know not that plastic shit tin foil is cheaper! and funner!!!

  • Personally I don't destroy this little car ¿Why? is a lost of time and I love my collection of cars Hot - Wheels and Matchbox and I don't destroying in this form.

  • i used up a roll of tin foil before i got it right

  • thx its a very fun progect

  • What year was that Chevelle cast released? I don't think I have one!

  • I used to do this as a kid... Never went that far, I just wrapped the tin foil around the whole car, then carefully took it back off so that it carefully resembled the car. haha

  • use a hammer

  • AHAHAHAHAHA all that and then the monotone.... that was fun. Funny stuff man thanks for the laugh

  • can i use water paints???? 8^)

  • ok thnx

  • For some reason the rivets on my car won't drill out Can u help?

  • @Thesnowleopard123 Try a using a small drill bit first to center the hole, then move to a larger bit. Make sure your bits are sharp.

  • @Thesnowleopard123 are you using a drill like he is

  • @pokemonpro222 i use a black & decker drill with rechargable batteries.

  • Are you going to put that car back together when you're finished?

  • thats a lot of work for a car that will be crushed in a second!

  • lol last part

  • @HabboShape LMAO!

  • Well, that was good.. nice video! :) I must try this when I do the car crush scene with the bulldozer in my vid

  • I use a big hammer to crush my cars for the monster Jam

  • thanks i will try it

  • where did you grave digger like that he is rare oh and also why did you not use digger in stop motion .

  • follow up; where did u get the drill

  • @TaylorLaunterxlover Canadian Tire, my source for most of my tools.

  • @TaylorLaunterxlover cant you buy them at Sears?

  • could u use aluminum foil?

  • cool

  • 9:45- 9:48 uh oh lol!

  • Man, just im happy cause you dont destroy a Hot Wheels!

  • Make a video of how you made the Monster Jam arena!

  • I've done the same thing with 1:24 scale models. Complete with chassis, interior and paint. To simulate crashes. ( Like seinfeldfan) The result is quite amazing as long as you keep the scale crash realistic. Slicing the hood, dooor and trunk line also helps for realism.( leave the latch areas solid.....so it acts like a real hood , door , and trunk latch holding the body together.

  • creative!

  • I do this to simulate collisions

  • this is cool and all...But imagine doing this to a model car...You know something 10 times bigger!

  • Sweet Stuff!

  • Kewl

  • awesome!

  • Cooll tip! thx

  • Good stuff. More of these please :)

  • nice

  • Nice

  • Thanks for that.

  • Cool.
