Why rather see lea? She can't sing the song like she knows what it's like to be American , just sayin. I'm not black. Npbut you still need a soulful voice to sing this type of song. And lea just dose not have it. That's just the truth.
God forbid the black girl (her name's Amber BTW) sang it because she was the best at it. Nooo, according to some of you there's gotta be some kind of agenda behind it. Never mind the fact that she sounded GREAT!
No doubt several of them have quality voices, but Amber's was probably the best suited to belt out the Anthem in a STADIUM full of noisy people.
Anyhow, this is probably in the top 3 renditions i've ever heard.

I'm not racist. I don't hate Amber. I was assuming that when it was advertised that the "Cast of Glee" was singing the National Anthem it would be more than one of them singing and the rest as backups.
And I posted it for people outside of the US that couldn't watch it. ;)

@1037pm Lea gets to do a TON of singing in Glee and I think she was sick this week and didn't wanna screw it up/make it sound really not the greatest....
Amber is simply the best! Absolutely powerful voice she has LOVE IT!

They probably thought if Lea sang it then people would complain that she sings all the songs.
They all should have sang together, the entire song, or switched parts and made it equal. That is just my opinion, lol.

If Lea was sick then how come 'FInn' didn't sing it?
Or 'Artie'...hes a more prominent character than 'Mercedes'...anyways so yea Ambers awesome!
