ok i played in hard mode, tweaked my build, all i have to say is if you dont take out the Mesmers and Eles, you will be wiped, unless you flag ur party and rez the dead ones and continue fightin(which i dont recommend). You gotta kill Mes and Eles by removing enchantments or somehow getting past them and then kill Necs and Monks, you can go for the Monk first, but do it fast or else the Mes/Eles r gonna nuke your party. So the thing about this is your inbetween a rock and a hard place situation.

Im doing hard mode now for this quest, and i abandon the quest over and over just to keep experimenting. Sometimes I speed through easily, but sometimes I wipe facing the first group. My setup is AoTL MM, Nec SoLS healer, Panic Mes, Inept Mes, ER protter, SoS Rit, ST Defense Rt. I just dont get it, i think it has something to do with the spawns...sometimes i think the Necros use Vereta's on my minions which wipes me, or maybe i didnt kill the Eles and Mes afflicted fast enough. Pls help

I highly recommend you only have Shelter on your Soul Twisting Ritualist. If spec'ed correctly, you can summon 3 spirits with instant recharge, thus allowing 3 Shelters every 15 seconds.

@KidsSayNoobALot While it has ben proven that limiting hero skills like crazy works very well, I just enjoy having other tools at my disposal, like earthbind or displacement - I've become less of a fan of union.

I'll give you the gist of it, but I don't want to find my templates again - 2 spirit spammers, 1 e/mo prot, 1 MM, 1 necro healer, 1 curses support and 1 panic.
