Filling the corn crib

I have not seen this in almost 50 years since I was a kid and moved off the farm. So why do they still store cob corn. I thought the modern way is to shell it.

my papaw had a little big giant elevator with a corn crib made out of wood. looks like yours but his elevators a little bit wider.

yea, originally, the blue should be red and th white should be a grey. nice tractor though

Unfortunately, a previous painted it blue. It should have a red belly, but I doubt I will change it to the correct color anytime soon.
