@MrSuasage well they havent even added multiplayer yet :P. This is a test for when beta comes out. Go to their website and youll see what their going to add for each version. I would preorder now so you'll get beta and gold for only 10 bucks! There is Alpha(this version) Beta, and Finally GOLD

The survival mode on this game is awesome!!! Even if it is only in Alpha. The only problem is that you need an external joystick/gamepad to play multiplayer. You cant play on the same keyboard. D:

this video ladies and gentlemen, shows us what the developer had done RIGHT, not what other big game companies like ubisoft, bethesda, etc. etc. do:

MULTIPLAYER COOP. It doesn't have to be an online server or something else, just plain old simple coopgameplay via Lan.

Why the hell are nowadays games just cool grafics, great performance and so on? Those cool features like coop beat good grafics a 100 times! Cant wait to see the game when it is all finished :)

@Syours currently with ourselves, but we have playtested with lots of people that have never tried it before, assorted friends, colleagues, other indie devs. Their testing is a big reason why we constantly evolve the game in a more user friendly direction. But this is one of the hardest and most important things to do.

Have you thought about creating the split screen seam at a perpendicular angle to the angle between the two players in world space? An old dragon ball z side scroller does this, as do some of the new lego games. It's pretty cool!

However, besides the fact that we support more than 2 players, and the fact that players are not always occupying the same "map", the technical challenge itself is the main reason why we have not tried it yet. There is support for context sensitive vertical and horizontal split screen right now however.

@OxeyeGames I have an idea for how to do more than two players with this technique! Look up Voronoi diagrams, and you'll probably be able to figure out the rest (I haven't tried it myself, but have wanted to for a while). But if they go onto other maps, yeah, that could make it weird I guess.
