People hating on it only because of the Shift feature. Or otherwise the handling of the vehicles (try playing Driver 1 without auto-handbrake and you won't fucking complain anymore). Also this is way better than what EA is pulling of with NFS since Most Wanted. Outside Driver 1 this is the best in the series even though they could cut on the eurotrash vehicles designed for posers. Gameplay wise (minus the shift and it's features) it goes back to the driver 1 era

I like this game a lot. It's fun...

Maybe it's just that fact that all the cars are licensed. They even have things like the Jaguar E-type and the Lamborghini Miura.

I have a lot of bad things to say about this game. Coming from an avid and hardcore Driver series fan from the beginning with Driver 1. But the final boss mission wasn't hard at all. You just need to know how to play it. You throw the cars Jericho's throwing at you while they're in the air. Boom done. I don't know if you can beat it otherwise by dodging them.

It could be a very good game but the result is just a FAIL!

Very boring, there only 4-5 types of missions which they repeated again and again.

The traffic is against you, you can see trucks coming out nowhere and stop in front of your way.

The opponents/enemies are very cheaty, in every collision their cars behave like you hit on a battle tank and your car bounces like a rubber ball.

I'm glad there are pirate games so I won't waste my money buying crappy stuff.

i tried the demo of this game on my friend ps3 i must say it do have some amazing visual on cars but i never liked this game as much as driver 2 which it's still my favoret driver game todate!

I've been playin' this game for a couple days now...(not long, I know), but I'm a fan of the Driver series, and I gotta say I MISS being able to get out of the car and wreak some havok!! I know GTA pretty much owns that realm, but I thought Driver held the edge in that the drive to get away was WAY better!! ....and now just floating around seems like a lazy way out. ....yet still tons of fun...

I really dont think the story is any good, way too much talk and lame movies for a game like this, 90% of the vehicles you can unlock is crap. And i dont like how they made alot of the main mission time based. Online gameplay is a joke imo. Think i played the game for max. 5 hours then i feelt a rising urge to uninstall it. maybee i just expected too much

I bought this ridiculous game and I want my money back. I love the genre, and liked the game for about 15 minutes, but if it said on the box "includes fucking moronic feature where you jump between cars using some stupid feature where you inhabit the bodies of other people" I would have kept my money in my pocket.

This game is a complete FAIL and a waste of time.

I think that if you were to ask your typical casual gamer/automotive enthusiast what his idea of a perfect game would be, you might hear a description similar to this: Have a city full of cars & allow me to drive any of them. Allow me to get used to them with little consequences to crashing them.

While the story is a little crazy, it's no worse than most video game stories. It does its job of explaining and excusing the "shift" feature, which allows you to drive all the various cars.
