I used to work there. The students were asked to make some funny videos for an end of the year event. It has nothing to do with their daily lives. Goodness, let them be kids once in a while, you old farts! Hairy door dude was a "dorm dad".

Place seems like a country club now? Whats up with the computers and open jackets?? The door dudes' facial hair?? Is all that stuff allowed now? When I was there we would march a bunch of tours for this kind of stuff...

Vatx: WTF? Well things at this hellhole have seriously changed. Education isn't bad, but it's not "quality" at all, for the amount they charge for tuition. (If you need proof, go look up the average SAT scores and compare them to other private schools.)

Plus, you're a different generation. This isn't an insult to anyone or anything. These are kids being themselves. So dude.... Save it.

Well, If RMA is the joke then I am sorry to hear that is has gone that route. I wonder what cadets acting silly and foolish on a YouTube video will do to fix that ? ? ?

This is an insult to the quality of education offered at Randolph-Macon Academy. I attended RMA from 1978 to 1982. We had some fun and acted foolish at times, but I dont believe we ever advertised our foolish antics.

Oh man.... I was there from '87 to '89. Things look so different now! New doors on the dorm rooms! I couldn't tell, but do they still have the "hell machine" steam heaters in the rooms? I didn't see one under the window. I remember some rooms you could damn near boil water on them.

I had a room one year with such a hot steam heater we could actually bake tollhouse cookies on it!
