I liked this cover, but in all honesty I liked Cradle's more. Not for any reason aside from that theirs takes a faster and more energetic approach to the song while still keeping it's overall feel at heart.

What it boils down to is that Hallowed be thy name is a fuckin' awesome song, and a song that great takes alot to ruin. In the end though just like what you like, don't apologize for what your ear drums enjoy. :)

idk why everyone says theres is better than Cradle's I think Iron Maidens music sounds the best and Dani Filths Vocals sound the best and Im not even a big fan of black or death metal(they just have a good atmosphere, but I dont think that this is as good as either the origanal or the cradle cover. Not that its bad, I just dont think its better.

The more emotions that you can evoke in one album the better and Machine Heads last two albums have done this extremely well.
