  • awesome!

  • wait, does the sound work on dc. cause it looks like u have a dc powerpack

  • Yes, Blueline locomotives are DC+Sound. They have an on board DCC chip to run the sound only on DC systems.

  • cool! how much was it, and can u blow the horbn?

  • I'm sure you can get it to blow someday. Broadway Limited markets BlueLine. MSRP is $169. The "DC Master" would allow the horn and bell, and has an MSRP of $39.99.

  • cool thanks!

  • I purchased one for $125 at a show brand new

  • Awesome deal.

  • If you flip the direction button really fast on the Athearn transformer the bell and horn will go on

  • I could not get that to work.

  • thats only for BLI. not the blueline series.

  • Is it possible to off the annoying bell sound in DC mode?

  • Yes, it is entirely possible to change any of the sounds, however it requires BLI's DC sound master, which I think costs $40 or so.
