lucky >.< i which i had that old computer lol and what i really like from it was the CPU ive never seen a AMD that old and also the harddrive just two gigabytes
@ExteriorPC Yeah, There are old Processors that AMD made from the past. Google it. Yup, this Hard Drive is 2 GB. Because i don't think people made very high capacity hard drives in the 90s. Now, the highest Hard drive capacity is 2 Terabytes. Which is 2,000 Gigabytes
@infinitypark003 yeah right now im trying to save up money to buy a terabyte right now im stuck with two 20gb hard drives and one 40 gb and i always run out of space
@infinitypark003 ...terabyte HDD's are expensive? You can buy a WD20EARS (WD Caviar Green 2 TB) for about $120. Whereas a 160 GB SATA hard drive (WD Caviar Blue) is $50. I think the 2 TB is a better value.
@TheGeek1028 It depends on your country. Dude, in my place. For a 60 GB HDD, its worth $99. Quite pricey for a small capacity HDD. Although SSD drivers are more expensive
0:40 - That is not an AMD K5. That is an AMD Am5x86 - the predecessor to the K5. And it says the processor speed right on it - 133 MHz. The Am5x86 is an interesting processor because it uses the old 80486 architecture, but it is classed as a 80586 (Pentium) class processor. It was just as fast as the early Pentiums, as well.
What model of Sound Blaster is that? It looks like a Sound Blaster 16 or Sound Blaster AWE32, but I can't tell from the video.
That ThinkPad is not from 2004 if it has a Pentium II and a sticker for Windows 98/NT. I would say 1998 or 1999. Do you know what model of ThinkPad it is?
Nice old computers! Too bad that Compaq doesn't work. Is that the original case? Because it sure doesn't look like a Compaq lol.
@CPQ5360 Thanks for some corrections! Although the Thinkpad, I have no idea what the model is. I never knew about any of these Hardware before. I think this is a Sound Blaster 16 sound card.
I know the thinkpad isn't from 2004, but it was bought in 2004! It had Windows 2000, but I took out the old Hard Drive and used it for my Compaq presario laptop for Ubuntu.
I know its a Compaq because i saw the box. But I didn't find the model. I wish I could get this working again
Wow man!! Great video!

@infinitypark003 Nah. About 80 bucks or 100 at most. It's a great investment.

@infinitypark003 2,048 GB, actually. And I think WD might be working on a 2.5 TB or possibly 3 TB.

@TheGeek1028 I might not need a Tera Byte Hard drive right now. Unless your a gamer

1:48 - 250 to 300 watts, depending on what model that particular PSU is. It's just a little on the weak side today, but still pretty good.
2:20 - That is EDO RAM, the predecessor to SDRAM.
