Bizarre japanese Sideways remake

What a garbage film remake. It's an insult to Sideways and Alexander Payne and the writer. And I'm half Japanese so I have a right to say this.

@chroNick546 well, how's it any different when US remake a Japanese film, hello, The Ring, The Grudge, Dark Water. US already has remake many Japanese film. Don't you think US should give back to Japan for remaking their film. Beside, fair is fair. I wouldn't mind if Japan remake The Godfather with Sonny Chiba with Vito Corleone.

I love Sideways. If you speak both Japanese and English, please watch both versions and tell me which you prefer. I would be surprised if another team of actors could equal the English version (Giamatti, Church, Oh, Madsen).

@Zerudah: indeed, I believe Asia has recently remake some of our American film. I know Japan remade this and Ghost. I wonder if some of our horror film could be remade for Asia. Like maybe Japan or Korea could remake The Amityville Horror, or The Haunting in Connecticut. The plot stay the same but move the setting to Asia and add Asian culture for the remake.
