Thnx I learned how to like in October 2009 and then I forgot how to start it and I don't have any book so I came to the Internet and found this!! Thnx this helped alot since I don't have school for the rest of the week cause of the snow and insted of watching tv the whole time I decided I wanted to crochet

Start with a slip knot. I have a video on how to make a slip knot too. I hope that helps!

Wow... thank God for the internet. I've been trying to follow the directions listed in Boye's "I taught myself to crochet" booklet and was totally lost until I watched this video. You really did an awesome job in explaining the chain stitch! Thanks! :)
