I have a utopia 8' tablet with arm 800 MHz 512 ram and resistive screen. It's very good for reading, browsing watching and stuff. Capacitative screen you only need if you want to play some games (angry birds ok with resistive, but not jewel type games) or typing. but if you type a lot you're better off with a laptop anyway ...

What they forgot to mention because they are smart not to tell u is that the battery is only only 200mah which is quite small for a 7inch screen, also is tft touchcreen so yeah its resistive touch which as evryone knows old technology so it sucks, no good viewing angles, too glossy, hdmi is good addition, but the fact that its resistive and not capacitive is makes it so bad, I mean if u want to compete with the big boys u have to play bigger and harder sorry but this is a FAIL device.

just bought one yesterday, yes, i am actually using it as a phone now. i pulled my tmobile sim from my vibrant, stuck it in there, and works fine. you can either use it as speaker phone, or with bluetooth. bluetooth is def easier since it is so big.
