I have all Soulfly's albums,I like all of them from the first one till omen,Rizzo an Joe are good but can't say Roy mayorga or Jackson bandeira are less than them,they rock also,,,the only thing That I don't agree is that Max doesn't sings any Portuguese songs as he used to in the first 5 albums,,,or play the berimbau,kinda disappointed but ,,,Soulfly is soulfly ,,,,,porrradaaaaaaa!!!!

@Korein75 Well, Dark Ages and Conquer(Soulfly) were good and dare I say it, Max's best lyrical work since his days in Sepultura. Inflikted (Cavalera Conspiracy) was nothing short of phenomenal. The rest of Blunt Force Trauma has to be better than this song.

And if we speak about Omen..........Well.....There"s no word to deals with this atrocity. (I dont speak about lyrics which is becoming worst and worst, just pathetic)

For CC, the reunion of the two cavalera brothers. It's just "not bad". I expected really better. And this song..........I'd rather not talk about.

@Korein75 With Conquer, Max had a lot more time to develop the Dark Ages into something a lot more brutal which was interesting. Omen sounded like industrial metal fused with techno.

CC was a bit disjointed at first, but it was awesome. I'm still hoping for a Sepultura reunion

For CC and Sepultura, well. I saw Sepultura this summer and it was totally sick. If we compare the band's where max play now (or try to play) with the actual Sepultura, only one of them play real metal music. I hoped the reunion many years but I understand that Andreas Kisser refuse, there's no reason for this

So the Derrick Green led Sepultura is better than Soulfly and CC? Soulfly and Sepultura are both plumbing the depths musically and lyrically. A Sepultura reunion with Max, Andreas, Paulo and Iggor would save their careers. Andreas is just being stubborn and Paulo, whose now Andreas' and Derrick's bitch has to toe the same line they do.

Omen had its moments; Kingdom, Mega Doom, Jeffrey Dahmer, Bloodbath And Beyond, Off With Their Heads, Four Sticks*led zep cover*, Your Life My Life*Excel cover* and Refuse Resist specifically. This song was probably a reject from Omen that creeped in somehow. Hoping the rest of "Blunt Force Trauma" is going to be better

@HeavyMetalBeliever I also hope it, brother ! I'm a huge Max's fan, and if now I play guitar in a deathmetal band, it's because of him ! But when I heard Omen, I was really sad. I understand that you could like to listen to it, but I don't get anything in it, it's in my humble opinion an album too easily made, nothing new, no great stuff, no originality at all, and I hate to spit in the soup, but I really don't understand why Max say that Omen is a brutal album :'(
