  • Yes it is and what dose it have to do with it? Electronics inside are built from scratch that sense the movement using a mems accelerometer chip. The old PCB is left in there just for the purpose of holding the buttons in the correct position. I just chose to use the case of this old ball mouse since i had no better use for it

  • @ clauderajapakse: thats not even a track ball. its an old ball mouse.

@ berni8k: great work mate!! i hope to experiment with accelerometers some day soon.

  • I see! Indeed, accelerometers are great!

  • I wonder how well it functions if it is on your head? Just curious. Clearly pressing buttons would be harder, but would it move your head in game?

  • Well it could be but you would need to use the display glasses as turning your head would turn it away from the screen.

Altho just a few weeks ago i saw someone put a accelerometer in a wig and put it on the head, it was a game called "headbang hero" where you have to bang your head as much as you can to the musics rhythm.

But no dought accelerometers are always fun !

  • I read on the other site you said its not accurate enough to work as normal mouse. You should do a video demonstrating that.

  • Meaby i will try making it accurate enough for that sometime, now im working on a PIC oscilloscope

  • Nice!
