That's not even a splitter. A splitter is "hooked" with the thumb on the bottom seam to deaden it so it loses rotation or may even tumble forward. Jimenez from Colorado hooks his splitter with the thumb on a seam and he is throwing it in the 90's.

That is known as a splitter or a forkball you dummy! The sinker grip is when ur fingers are on top of the seem (parallel with the seems) where they are closest together and the throwing action is to turn ur hand inward to impart spin opposite of a slider.

Hahaha ummm no a sinker is the same thing as a two seam fastball for most people. The point of the sinker is to sink in on the batter.... Not litterally sink. A splitter moves differently depending on the pitcher, some drop, some slide.
