  • Those women are looking toward the camera like "Are you kidding me?" LOL

  • Thought it were a sin to use electric?

  • Fucking teach your kids that starring is rude. And video taping people without their consent is rude as well.

  • @lerlo And your mom did no teach you not to cuss? And BTW, tell I said hi. She still doing that crack?

  • Comment removed

  • @lerlo My Mom is 75 or 76 now. And FYI, you are the dirty mouth one, you started using the f word you POS.

  • @mrdeleted I used the F work as a figure of speech. You called my mom a crack whore. Whos the Rude Dirty mouth one here?

  • @mrdeleted PS, i removed my previous comment because it was uncalled for, but still, you insult someones mother, your taking it to a whole new level friend.

  • @lerlo Ya, I guess I am used to having people insult me, and have learned to respond like that to those users.... Sorry if I offended you.

  • @lerlo They are not staring, they are getting to know their cousins...lol

  • @lginther08 you do realise that hes a former member of the amish community right? and he KNOWS these people!! and they usually know hes recording them they just ignore it and get on with their lives!! heck ive had peopl etake pics of me and record me without askin and you dont see me freakin out!! hey i even have them record me on paltalk and then edit it to make it seem like i am saying things im not. compaired to the things ive had done to me meerly for being muslim this is harmless!

  • @mrdeleted and id rather learn the details from a person that was actually one of the group than to try to learn from an outsider that probably never even met an amish person!! just as if you want to learn about islam you talk to a muslim or catholicolism you talk to a catholic person or even judaism you talk to a jew!! if more people would be educated we might get somewhere on the peace front...

  • @helema23 You know I suggest you read the new New York Times Best Seller by Ira Wagler, called "Growing Up Amish", he too was Amish. It is vary well written. And you will feel a LOT of emotions while reading his book. (He was not from the same sect that I am from, but his dad, David Wagler was some-what of a legend in the Amish communities, having co-founded the only Amish publishing company, Pathway Publishers.

  • @mrdeleted i know you probably already knew all of that but i posted it so others might see that there are differences as there are in all other groups!

  • @helema23 Yes, in fact that is why I make Q&A videos about the Amish and related religions.

  • @mrdeleted and some groups are more modern with just the basics no tv and no computer. while the mennonites tend to have more than just a few basics they can have pcs and basic wholesome television. there are median groups to both of these beanches and the new orde rmennonites dont really do the caps but are still in the modest dress. and i know how it feels to be mistaken for something im not so if i am told that i was wrong i will apologise! cause i get called a nun all the time.

  • and sir those are old orde rmennonites not amish....

  • @helema23 Quit being an idiot, they were Amish, I know some of the people in their community, in fact, my cousin was working as a driver for the one guy in this video.

  • @mrdeleted well sir you can show some respect and say "i know them" or "you are mistaken they are amish" by the way i have met former mennonites that dressed much the same way so sometimes i confuse them!! by the way notice how i called you sir when i made the styatement before you told me to stop being an idiot. where im from sir is a word used in respect of males that are olde rthan yourself! and you chose to disrespect me when i thought they were something they arent?

  • @helema23 OK Sir, I get a lot of people that call my videos of Amish "Minimites" and other stupid names. It can get vary irritating.

  • @mrdeleted actually id be ma'am or young lady to a man refering to me and yuh i kno wthe feeling its just that i know of old order mennonites that dress the same as the amish. in fact they are actually two branches of the same group that split off from each other due to the fact that they were persicuted in europe and other parts of the east so they came here to settle down and some stayed plane and have no modern facilities or amenities.

  • @helema23 Hard to know if I am speaking to a man or woman from a username. (unless, like mine has "mr" in the front).

  • @mrdeleted lol i know and id rather be called sir and then be able to tell one i am female (helema is a female name) than to be called idiot, moron, terrorist, the b word and a whole laundry list of things that would make a sailor faint....and id love to look at all your vids i might subscribe!! its just that not many would watch the q&a cause they arent really into learning the diferences!! at first i thought you were just buggin people with the vids but now i know you were one of them!!

  • @helema23 Ya, I did some Q&A videos, some had a decent amount of views, others not so much. Overall I have had over 4 million views, over 600 videos, some about my family, and some about technology, and the most popular one is about a company "utube" suing "youtube", not exactly about the Amish, but still, I made over 6000 dollars from that video... I just made a video about Amish guys in KY going to jail for contempt of Court over triangles. They refuse to use them.

  • @mrdeleted yuh the triangle thing was on TMZ it was that popular!! i would think if it wa sa matter of safety they would do it because god wants us to be safe not ridiculosly over orthodoxed that we risk killing people!! i do not think they shall be smitted by the hand of god for useing a thing in which insures the safety of the people around them...as for the book ill look it up and see if i can get a copy of it.

  • @ mrdeleted now i get it, the reason the lil girls have absolutely no manners is because they are your people, and they take after you,,,you have real class :)

  • @pugdogy Yes, and so are the Amish, but I think you already knew that, and wanted to twist my words around.

  • so whats with the kids standing there staring at these folks like they're some kind of side show, don't their parents have enough sense to call them away from these folks? pitiful,,,,

  • @pugdogy They are my people idiot, they know more about the Amish then you ever will.

  • How are they doing what the amish do? when would you find an amish family in a laundry room that must be paid for? they wash their clothes themselves.

  • @chloelizlothario Of course they do, but the Amish, while behind the times, have some groups that are more advanced then others.

  • @chloelizlothario its called aliberal group some even have trucks they use for long hauls and large loads. others i have seen use zippers and buttons on their clothing and some even use certain facilities such as banks and resteraunts. i have even heard of some haveing simple electricity and running water, no tv no computer just lights and water!

  • I hope you know there are two other religions who dress like this. The Mennonites and the Dunkards. If they say they arent one then they must be one of the other two

  • Try Mennonites. Look a lot like Amish act much different.

  • REALLY..what is the big deal with amish people? I don't care if you were amish or not..it does not give you the right to film them without them knowing. If I were them, I would take that camera and throw it on the floor and spit on it. Seriously people, the amish are like EVERYONE else.. stop acting like they are damn zombies or aliens. It's sick and shows what the TRUE American will do just because he thinks it is funny.

  • Can you translate what you guys were saying around 2:40

  • thumbs up if you mute the stupid ads!

  • @OdoubleTO Its what pays the bills!

  • @mrdeleted can you say "Real Job"?

  • @Lvl60Slayer Yes, can you? Youtube has been good to me over the last few years, and has been paying off my property.

  • @kaledean1 And your creepy messages are what got you blocked.

  • Ok, so someone looks or dresses differently than you do - so lets secretly video tape them and put it on YouTube for a bunch of slack-jawed yokels to stare at! That doesn't seem fair or right.

  • @sarah9847 No, the fact is that I did dress like they do. I guess the fact that I was Amish myself was lost on you.

  • Do you follow Amish around with a cell phone. Why?

  • @Imogen1885 Nope.

  • @Imogen1885 BTW I grew up Amish if you did not know.

  • @mrdeleted That's great, but why are you stalking them and postng them on Youtube.

  • @Imogen1885 Because people wanted to see a little more of my people and not just me. (I post videos about why I left, the child abuse etc, so people know me, but having some videos of the Amish validates my channel. I don't get why people now want to call it creepy etc.)

  • @mr deleted Like most people I am under the impression that the Amish are a peaceful, kind people. Are you saying they abuse their children in general or that you alone had abusive parents?

  • @Imogen1885 Not my parents, but my brother is abusive. And it is not so much just that it happens, anyone can abuse kids, but the fact that they cover it up and do not allow their members to go to outside authorities, and while I am not saying that all Amish are like this, fact is I don't know too much about this group, but the one that I grew up with have a reputation of having a higher then normal amount of child abuse. And the only thing they do is "shun" the abuser for 6 weeks. (cont)

  • @Imogen1885 One guy was sexually abusing woman over a 40-year time period, and kept getting shunned, and then what got him 5 years in prison was his rape of the granddaughters, age 3 and 5. The parents took the kids into prison and told them that their grandfather was there cause of them. It was a neighbor that called the authorities, cause the Amish are not allowed to.

  • @Imogen1885 Not all Amish are abusive. My other 2 posts did not stick. But yes, there is abuse, and that in itself is not the issue, it is the coverup when they do not allow their members to contact authorities, and make the problem worse. I am talking about the guy who after 40 years of abuse and "shunning" got 5 years after his neighbors reported that he raped his 3 and 5 year old granddaughters. And they were taken to the prison and told they are the reason he was there.

  • @mrdeleted If that is true it is utterly appalling. The Amish should be dealt with exactly they same way as everybody else for such crimes. Not reporting a crime is also a crime.

  • @Imogen1885 it is true unfortunately but what can I do I have tried on here to make a difference but I don't really know what else to do last year a group of 4 ministers were charged with misdemeanors for not reporting crimes like that and had to pay $300 each.

Another issue I have is about but the safety due to the fact that my dad is paralyzed from one of this four accidents. That last one I was in it too.

(Mrdeleted)

  • @Imogen1885 And FYI I don't "stalk" anyone, I just let placed a camera on a washer, and hit record. No stalking involved.

  • I'm pretty sure they were thinking you were some perv for recording them! lol I felt uncomfortable FOR them toward the end, when they realized they were beinng recorded. I'm interested in the Amish culture, but I could never do that (recording them w/ouit permission), personally.

  • @Sunshyne276 They may have, but they had no idea that they were recorded. (And I was Amish myself)

  • @mrdeleted Toward the end it seemed like they realized they were being recorded, though. Not ridiculing ya, just sayin.. lol :)

  • @Sunshyne276 Actually thought so too, but my cousin worked for the guy, and he showed him a clip of this, and the guy did not realize it... But hey, they do know that they are online now!

  • @mrdeleted Oh really? lol Yeah, I thought they started to notice. :)

  • You know that taping was probably extremely uncomforable for them. They are humans idiot, not aliens! I`m not Amish, but i have Amish friends and they are the most kindest and most giving people you`ll ever meet. So do yourself a favor and lay off! You`re the weird one here! UGH!

  • @loosenut1970 My people put on a show for their friends.

  • why are you videoing these people that are doing laundry?it seems to me it is you that has the problem. if people were all the same what a boring ass place earth would be.now Grow up! people are free to be who they want .as long as it dont infringe on anybody else now get a life

  • i want to marry an amish girl

    is that possible?

  • @jimmyjohnson691 Well not *impossible*, but the question is would you join the church, or marry one that left the Amish.

  • this is so insane, how do people live in a social cage like that without thinking to themselves "this is crazy"? especially when theyre surrounded by normal people.

    i dont get this.

its like dressing up in a costume all your life and not realizing that it isnt halloween.

sry to be so up front on the subject, i just dont understand it.

  • @TheLOAF90 I don't always understand it either, but I grew up in this life...

  • @TheLOAF90 just because you dont understand something doesnt mean its crazy. i think it is upholding morals our society has little left. doesnt mean their not normal caus they dont live like you

  • Wow, you are one creepy bastard.

  • @MrMeatballs1945 and you are one creepy hater

  • @mrdeleted It's impossible for me to reason with an unreasonable, irrational, oblivious fuck like yourself. YOU ARE BAT SHIT CRAZY.

  • @MrMeatballs1945 LOL good, I love my haters :-)

  • @mrdeleted Once again, it is amazing to normal people like me, that you can't see how creepy you are when you start talking at the beginning of your video. I mean, you can hardly put a fucking sentence together you fucking inbred piece of shit. GET A CLUE!!! However, I don't blame you as much as I do your parents, because they are the ones that failed miserably.

  • I think Amish people are nice, it's just I would never follow that philosophy.

  • In the beginning, were those kids with the "Former Amish" or were they just being rude and annoying?

  • @lonelycompany They are my twins, and they were just talking to the people.

  • @mrdeleted Oh, my bad. It looked like they were just staring. They're your twins? But one looks older than the other.

  • @lonelycompany Actually you are right, that one was Laura, Shannon and Cheyenne (the taller one in the video) are the twins, and Laura lost her twin in the womb, so technically she is also a twin, but not to Cheyenne.

  • To all of you who reprimanded the uploader for recording in a public place with no expectation of privacy, AFTER YOU clicked on the video AND WATCHED IT:

    OH YE HYPOCRITES!

  • @zhuliu :-) You tell em!

  • I agree...how dare you tape anyone..I dont care who owns the place..EVERYONE is entitled to their privacy in doing the mundane chores we all have in our lives!

  • haha I just love the Amish.

  • The Amish/Mennonites in Oklahoma are not so clean.

  • Amish are a decent & honest people, pity more people in this World did not have some of their values it would be a more peaceful World. God always bless them.

  • Live and let live, dude. What is it to you? They do a lot less harm than other christian fundamentalists in your 3rd world country.

  • @Nilguiri I like your attitude....It reminds me of an Amish family I used to buy apple butter from up near Ft Knox. Their attitude towards life, "So I'm Amish and you're not, what's your point? We're all brothers and sister in God's eyes."

  • @w5pda

As religions go they are "crazier" than most actually, but at least they keep it to themselves and do not try to proselytize or evangelize. You have to respect that!

For that reason, I have more time for them than most other god botherers, but still wish they would give a proper and complete (e.g. scientific) education to their kids - although that can be said for the nearly the whole of the USA, frankly.ç

  • id be pissed if somebody did that to me. id come over there and smash that #@1*$ camera.

  • Wow, the guy at the beginning of this film sounds like a real loser. Has he got brain damage, that would explain a lot.

  • @XCritonX Sorry to hear that your mom dropped you when you were a baby.

  • i still dont see what your deal is with the amish ppl? and how you can tape ppl without them knowing and be ok with that...they are just trying to do their laudry, how would you like to be recorded while doing your daily tasks because you were for example wearing a red shirt and drove a ford instead of a chev? like really! this is the second vid of u recording the amish ppl and 90% sure that u didnt ask or tell them they were being recorded, or ask if you could post it to the public..grow up!

  • @lginther08 i think they were looking at the irony of this video when they recorded it. Amish is a way of life, in that you use the land instead of machinery. keeping things old fashioned basically. like, clothes lines instead of washers and dryers. i agree they should have asked, or let them know they were being recorded, because its rude, and invading their way of life. but i think its quite humerous to see amish people in a laundromat

  • LOL

  • lol yeah at 3:02 you can hear the older lady say "you think theyre recording us"

  • @elizabethhir I can't hear it... My cousin works with the guy in this video, and he had no idea that they were recorded. Maybe the lady suspected it, but the guy said he had no idea.

  • @mrdeleted Yeah, seemes like she suspected it. She seemed a bit wary the whole time. :-) Have you spoken with them since?

  • @ICELANDIC1 no...

  • they are minanights or something like that, they wear the same clothes, work the same way, but they don't believe the same way as amish people as far as electrical things, we get um all the time in missouri.

  • @dmi3011 Uh no they are not "minanights" or even Mennonites. This is a group that broke off of the Amish, and do not use electric, and live for the most part like the Amish, but do not want to be called Amish, but rather "former Amish".

  • @dmi3011 Mennonites

  • @evelynmh They do not call them self Mennonites, just "former Amish", but they dress and live just like the Amish do, so my question is how are they different then the "Amish" that they supposedly left.

  • I think they caught on to you at the end.

  • The camera was just sitting there, and I walked away... It had a red light on, but I am not sure if they saw that and were discussing it, or a washer...

  • @mrdeleted so basically they are stuck in the 17th century how did you live like that that should be considered some kind of form of abuse

  • I agree!

  • Actually, my cousin works with the guy, and showed it to him and they had not noticed that they were being recorded...

  • Oh lol. Thanks for letting me know. It totally looked like it though.

  • i thought the amish used a washboard and fresh air ?

the younger lady in the cap is pretty hot !

  • We always used a gas-powered washing machine not a wash-board...

  • do you know what the amish people thought about the ''former'' amish....are they agree???
