not meaning to brag or anything, but we were stood at the front, right in the middle against the barrier!!!we waited for like 8 hours to get that spot!!!
i was right there in the 4TH ROW!!!! travelled all the way from greece just to see them and it was really worth it..."uplifting" can best describe it...and btw sigur ros are definitely not depressing...maybe you confuse it with moving..
Me too! Sigur Rós are my favourite band, I only went to lattitude on the saturday. I came down from Blackburn!!! It's gonna be bonfire night when thjey play at blackpool. I can't wait!
damn i loved latitude so much it was sooooooo fun sigur ros and franz ferdinand were deffo the best bands
apart from that the next best part was ross noble leading them all out of the comedy tent! and then the huge konga he formed...i was there and it was soooo funny
you're totally wrong. and saying they are depressing? i've never heard music that DOESN'T depress you more than Sigur Ros. cba to explain it. listen to them more, on your own, and if you still don't like them, then they're not the band for you :)
i dont know anyone who has listened to sigur ros a lot and still doesnt love them.
I'm not slagging them - I've listened to them for years - saw them at The Union Chapel years ago. Just saying that you want something a little uplifting at the end of a Festival day, and they were the wrong act.
Agreed on all the below, they were truely increible, my mrs loves def lepard and bryan adams and she is now a true sigor ros addict like me!! I'm now off to amazon to buy the back catalogue!!!
This was the best band over the whole weekend and made the trip to latitude. Was up near the front and loved every moment of Sigur Ros. Truly fantastic
i was desperate to go this festival from the day the line up was announced but unfortunately i had a birthday party to attend. sigur ros were definitely the band i wanted to see the most
They were breathtaking at latitude.

May I take the opportunity to say, with, of course the utmost respect to all the Sigur Ros obsessives all over the planet,...."bollocks".

Lovely toon, but jeez, to headline a festival? Sad. At least they were less depressing than Interpol. Self harming is less depressing than Interpol.

its a shame this video has such distorted sound. when you were there it was as crisp as a new £5 note. truly amazing day.
