I dont use leashes. All i do is let my beardie run freely.When he gets close to somthing i dont like, ill grab him and put him back in a safe area. But be carful, they like ti sprint!

so im thinking about getting a dragon. This question could either seem rude or a good question (i hope it doesnt come off as rude). How much would you say it costs to take care of a dragon? i have cash to get one but how much are we talking about food/health/environment (housing etc). if you could answer it would realllly be appreciated! thanks so much!

@lentspark you probally have one by now lol. but cages are usally 100-200. food is like 10 bucks a week or 2. and heating will be around 50 bucks. also the bearded dragon himself will be 50+ considering the breed. and they usaly will go to a vet every couple months for a check up for 10 to 20 bucks. its a great question!

@Lilmeintn Haha thanks! It's funny you say that because it WAS more secure than the kitten harness I bought a few weeks later. He always puffs up or flattens out when I put on the kitten harness, but this one was just made of a nylon, so it stretched with his body!
