A4 is standard in Europe, but I think you could make pieces out of letter paper ... it`s a bit wider and shorter

I have a solution for all you who can't get the circle to work you need to put a support row behind the circle as you make it and then keep adding layers until it is strong enough to hold on it's own(4 rows or so)

@Showakusai its easy to make but takes long to prepare... it took me over 2 days to make all the pieces but i didnt take many breaks...but to actually make the dam thing might take u up to an hour or 2. Hope this helped

@Showakusai some extra advice to make it go a lil faster. never make the pieces one at a time. if ur looking for neatness than its ur choice. i would usually fold about 5 sheets of paper same time,cut all the pieces(squares that make the little triangle pieces) i can get from it, then fold 2 squares at the same time to fold faster pieces
