What people fail to appreciate is the fact that this woman is still Debbie Harry, the same woman who caused and created major "new waves" in modern popular culture worldwide. She's still Debbie Harry, the woman who single-handedly made the glamorous rock and roll lifestyle seem like it was patented under her name. I like your comment. I became a Blondie fan a few months back so when I heard they would be playing in my area I was there. They were awesome and you can't get a full appreciation of Debbie Harry until you see her in person. The idea that she was that good at 65 years old is remarkable. (What must it have been like in their heyday?) The crowd was into it, the set list was well conceived and the encores had emotional resonance, reflecting their origins. That's one off the bucket list.
