  • Faggot

  • This should be called a Tribute to Lebron James.. He is good but include some other players.. He is in every other pic.. Geez!!

  • What the heck is this?

  • omg who is the artist of the song, its sounds so awesome

  • why is this a video response to OJ simpsons trial verdict???

  • Still a shitbag video.

  • no one got punched ya sick fuck

  • Hey I didn't even See a Guy Get punched. I thought That was what the video was all about

  • GO U.S.A

  • haha fl studio classic sounds i remember those sounds

  • Go USA!

  • Go USA!

  • I'm glad this had nothing to do with Danny Granger. Chump.

  • I bet he better than you in ball. go in the nba n be a leading scorer then yu can say somethin

  • What the hell does that mean? Maybe you should go to school and learn basic English grammer.

My qualm is that the poster advertised this as being one thing, and it has nothing to do with that subject. I don't care if he can ball. I merely came here to see his teeth knocked out by Paul Peirce, only to find some lame ass montage of Team USA. No one cares about Olympic basketball....it's a joke.

  • Grammar*. You got served.

  • spedmunki youre such a faggot does anyone give a shit about grammar on youtube? youre a fuck. and alot more people in america care about usa basketball than people who dont

so if youre comebacks are going to be about basic english grammar dont even post anything on here again. faggot

  • It still has nothing to do with Danny Granger.......AND IT'S A SHITTY MOVIE!

  • NBA rule nº10; section XIV; point C: "c. A player who comes to a stop on the count of one may pivot, using either foot as the pivot foot."

I'm repeating myself. BTW, I already said I'm tired of this discussion (not because of you, of course, but because, after all, this basketball players don't pay my bills; I already forgot the match, I have more important things to do). It's nice to discuss and talk to you. Maybe we'll find another opportunity in four years, or maybe in two, he he! Cheers!

  • Well you don't have to reply to me because my reply is so that people who may read this will know the truth. Section XIV in the NBA rule book is about "Suspension of Play," and not travelling or pivoting. Spain lost and the above post is just a lie about NBA rules. The rules states that if a player comes to a stop on count of one with both feet down may use either a pivot. Don't put false rules up. First making excuses and now lying really brings the charcter of the spaniards fans into question.

  • And of course (don't know if I already wrote it): congratulations for your gold!

  • The Count of two, like you say, is WHEN YOU RECEIVE THE BALL MOVING. When you receive the ball and aren't moving, the first foot that touches the ground is the pivot foot (under FIBA rules). But under NBA rules, you can choose which foot to use as pivot foot, and this allows you to give two steps before bouncing the ball: it's that simple.

I'm tired of this discussion. Did you read all my messages? I'll keep thinking you are smart and polite. Take it easy, man! ;-D Cheers!

  • That is not true. In the nba the first foot that touches is the pivot and in both if you stop on both feet you can pick wich is the pivot. Look even if what you said was true do you think that is enough to determing the outcome of the game and can you even state when and how many times the U.S. did it if they did at all.

  • I seriously think both organizations (NBA and FIBA) should come to an agreement about the rules. BTW, I give you a link (I don't know why I cannot post the link; it doesn't matter: type "Anthony Reimer" on Google, and it's the third result) if you want to check out these differences. Cheers, and best wishes!

  • The drawing-up of FIBA rules is so confusing. They're written in a very different manner! But I saw hundreds of matches here in Europe, and a bunch of NBA ones, too. And I love basketball, and it doesn't hurt to be polite. That's why I'm congratulating every US-basketball fan with whom I can discuss in a civilized manner (like you) for your gold. I'm not that blind, and I never said we must won, but we MAY have won under the circumstances explained (by Omenow and me).

  • Under NBA rules, both feet can be pivot feet when you receive the ball. Under FIBA rules, the first foot that touches the ground, is the pivot foot, and you must bounce the ball before lifting it. Anyway, I thank you for your politeness: it's not easy to find people with whom you can discuss in a civilized way. And I never said we must win. I only said we MAY have won, under the circumstances which Omenow and me were trying to explain. (It continues, but not much longer)

  • You just lied. I posted the 2008 Fiba rules above about pivoting and its states that if both feet are on the ground the first one you pick up is pivot same as NBA. You spaniards are not jsut petty you are also liars

  • Point G: "g. If a player, with the ball in his possession, raises his pivot foot off the floor, he must pass or shoot before his pivot foot returns to the floor. If he drops the ball while in the air, he may not be the first to touch the ball."

FIBA rules are more confusingly written than NBA's, but the basic difference between them is that under FIBA rules, you may not have a pivot foot. And you can only take two steps without bouncing the ball if you receive it moving (It continues...)

  • Aiselles you made an ass out of your self. your Fiba rule is the same as your nba rule in the post above. A count of two means two steps like Fiba. You Pwned yourself. learn the damn rules before you talk about the U.S. cheating

  • Well, I'm not an english speaker, and both regulations are totally different written. But I think this is the clue: NBA rule nº10; Section XIV; point C: "c. A player who comes to a stop on the count of one may pivot, using either foot as the pivot foot". Point e: "e. A player who comes to a stop on the count of two, with neither foot in advance of the other, may use either foot as the pivot foot." [It continues...]

  • Hopefully not everyone in the US is like you, ractyarc25. Your vocabulary and your manners describe yourself. I congratulate the good-manered and polite US-basketball supporters for their gold. As to the ones like you, you can go to hell!

  • aiseilles? you are one dUMB retard...what did i tell on the other video..Man! you are one hard heade sore loser low life scum bag dipshit...FIBA..get the fuck other here.Hey youtube..RETARD on the loose..it's Aiseilles..YOu need some serious class on understanding and how to accept that you bitches lost..U.S.A TEAM leads the way

  • usa rocks!

    JT

  • BTW, rules about travelling are more relaxed in the NBA: there, you can take two steps, and lift your pivot foot from the ground before bouncing the ball. Under FIBA rules, you MUST bounce the ball before takin the second step, before lifting your pivot foot from the ground.

I've played basket for years, and see almost every match I can. Don't try to mislead me, please! Cheers!

  • You don't know what youa re talking about. Go to NBA . com and look the NBA rules. I posted them about but will post them again.

Section XIII - Traveling article C of the 2006 NBA rule book.

In starting a dribble after (1) receiving the ball while standing still, or (2) coming to a legal stop, the ball must be out of the players hand before the pivot foot is raised off the the floor. Also the U.S. was tested by the IOC and Kobe took a suprise test at Beijing. Its in the Associate Press.

  • I'm not ashamed of myself, cos' I don't know what you got, but you are completely wrong. I don't know what you're talking about. Type here in Youtube "olympics USA travelling", and maybe you'll find out. Well, if you see the video with your eyes open, of course. US BASKETBALL TEAM (not swimmers, nor everyone else) TAKE THEIR OWN TESTS, as well as the other three major US professional leagues (baseball, hockey and football).

  • I went and looked up the FIBA and the U.S. drug test alligations. The people who said the U.S. traveling rules are different are pretty much wrong. FIBA allows a step after dribble and NBA allows none. U.S. takes the same drug tests as everyone else too. You guys on here talking about learn FIBA rules don't even know them. You can go the the FIBA site and get them. You are what we call sore losers and are just making any excuse you can as to why you lost. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

  • GO USA!

  • GO USA!

  • Yes because USA team is great and Kobe the best player in the world. Big problem between FIBA rules and NBA rules, 11 teams use FIba rules and 1 use the best rules for them. The best dont need help. NBA Stars = lot of money for Olympic games.

  • Look the face of USA players... they were afraid, Where is Lebron in final moments? and Carmelo?.. in bathroom!!. I didnt know USA basketball team play with 8 players on the court. Spain only 5.

  • They still won.

  • These spain supporters are stupid, they think spain should be awarded the gold because they werent blown out by 20.. You all didnt get any closer then 2 points and then the USA spread the lead to around 10 points. We made our shots and spain missed theirs.

  • USA has the best basket team in the world. Nobody doubts that. But in last final the reefs helped them a lot by applying NBA rules instead of FIBA rules. The Olympics are played with FIBA rules. The USA players did not bounce the ball before steping (that's ilegal in FIBA competitions) and defended using their hands, wich also is ilegal. USA players are great, but they needed that extra help to defeat Spain in the final (also those 2 consecutive technical fouls at the very end). It was unfair.

  • They deserved those calls because they got pissed at the refs. Rubio did not make contact with Paul cause Paul avoided him and if he did it was a slight touch and not a real foul and then Rubio got pissed at the ref for not giving him call. as far as fiba rules whatever. The U.S. played by the same rules.

  • freelancepimp, the USA players were constantly travelling. At one point, Kobe (probably the best player in the world) gave more than 4 steps before bouncing. Hahahahaa. Man, it was so obvious. And the USA players also defended using arm contact. That is not legal. You can only touch the ball in FIBA rules. USA players are by far the best, but they cheated by not following FIBA rules. This is the truth and it was obvious. Then we got those 2 calls when we were fairly protesting. Total Shame.

  • Kobe 4 steps on what play. go to NBC olympics and tell me at what time on the tape he did it and how many times. and if it happened once are you saying that one missed called cost Spain the game. If so that is sad. And Rubio never should have went over and got in the refs face but the game was already lost adn you know it. That didn't cost them the game.

  • That did not cost them the game. It's true. The way in wich the reefs contantly admitted USA's travellings and arm defense was the clue.

  • Where did the refs admit this. I would like to read it or see it.

  • freelancepimp, you say that you would like to read it or see it. Do you read Spanish? If so, let me know and I will send you the links to many press pages. If you want to see it, just look at the match, and realise how they broke constantly the FIBA rules.

  • Send it. Send me the links links where the refs complained about the U.S.A. breaking the rules even though it is in Spanish. And why didn't they call the U.S. on the infractions? I saw the game so don't change the subject. You can see it at the site nbcolympics anytime you like. Its sad that all you guys can hold onto is Fiba rules. Send it to me and prove you are not just making up excuses.

  • Freelancepimp, I'm sending you the links. But I will send them to your private. there are to many links for this comment site, And there are just some of them. Havea good read and tell me.

  • I went to FIBA and got the rules. They are not that different on traveling. FIBA actually lets you take one step after picking up the dribble and not shooting. The NBA don't. You need to go get rules and learn them and stop looking for EXCUSES. YOU GUYS ARE JUST MAKING THEM UP!

  • Freelancepimp, Travelling NBA/WNBA rule is more liberal than the current NCAA and FIBA rules when a player is coming to a stop. The NBA/WNBA rule is identical to the pre-1994 FIBA rule. As well, if you land with a staggered stop (i.e. one foot, then the other, with one foot clearly in front of the other), the back foot is the pivot foot in NBA/WNBA. In NCAA/FIBA, the first foot to touch is the pivot.

  • Dude I read the same article you got that from. Go read the actual FIBA and NBA rules. Also, you weak argument abotu the U.S. players traveling had nothing to do with pivot. you argument was about kobe taking steps before bouncing which is also not allowed in NBA rules. Go look at the actual rules adn not some article. You can get them from the FIBA site and the NBA site. I read those articles and other than crying about "contrary arbitration" there were never any examples given or points made.

  • freelance, if you read the same article, then what are you saying? "Travelling NBA/WNBA rule is more liberal than the current NCAA and FIBA rules" "In NCAA/FIBA, the first foot to touch is the pivot." It's clear. To pivot in FIBA rules means to move without steping. Once you step without bouncing, you are travelling. Man, seriusly, admit reality. USA has by far the best players, but they played against FIBA rules. That's all. And read the links I sent you. Use an online translator or whatever.

  • I went to FIBA, FIBAAAA, and got the rules. let me quote them for you. Article 25.1.1 in the 2008 Fiba rule book states A pivot is the legal movement in which a player who is holding a live ball on the court steps once or more than once in any direction wit the same foot while the other foot, called the pivot foot, is kept at its point of contact with the floor.

  • 25.2.2 Of the 2008 Fiba rule books says While standing with both feet on the floor to start a dribble, the pivot foot may not be lifted before the ball is released from the hands. Section XIII - Traveling article C of the 2006 NBA rule book. In starting a dribble after (1) receiving the ball while standing still, or (2) coming to a legal stop, the ball must be out of the players hand before the pivot foot is raised off the the floor.

  • OMENOW those are the same rules so stop it. I went to the fiba and nba sites and got the rules in .pdf format and downloaded them both as you can do too and not use some article. Use your own brain and get the rules yourself but you do not want to do that because it makes it hard for you to make excuses and you seem to like excuses.

  • Let me continue so there is no confusion. This come from both rule books which you can check yourself but I knwo you are not cause you find the truth inconveninet. ART 25.2.1 of the FIBA 2008 rule book: Establishing a pivot foot for a player who catches a love ball on the playing court While standing with both feet on the floor: The moment one foot is lifted, the other foot becomes the pivot foot. while moving: If one foot is touching the floor, that foot becomes the pivot foot.

  • If both feet are off the floor and the player lands on both feet simultaneously, the moment one foot is lifted, the other foot becomes the pivot. If both feet are off the floor and the player lands on one foot, then that foot becomes the pivot foot. If a player jumps off that and comes to a stop landing on both feet simultaneously, neither foot is a pivot foot.(Nba that is called travel, only thing is even close to that rule is what called a jump/hop step but you have to go with a pass or shot.)

  • NBA rules SectionVIII-Pivot

a.A pivot takes place when a player; who is holding the ball, steps once or more than once in any direction with the same foot, the other foot(pivot foot)in contact with the floor. It doesn't allow the Fiba rule 'if a player jumps of off his pivot foot and lands on both feet he now has no pivot)the NBA we call that travelling. Can't jump off of one foot and land in one spot stuck with two feet on the floor and not be called for travelling. FIBA= more liberal

  • Get your facts right. I went straight to the source and not some BS article. You talk about the U.S. not knowing FIBA its obvious you don't knwo NBA and what the hell you are talking about and was just looking for excuses. You my friend have been what we Americans called (and I knwo you know what it means) PWNED!

  • Just like the Spain's basketball team. and I actually like Gasol.

  • Oh I left this out NBA Section XIII-Traveling

    b. A player who has one foot on the floor or lands with one foot first to the floor may only pivot with that foot. Once that foot is lifted from the floor it may not return until the ball is released

  • Does anyone knows where i can download the whole match?

  • I think the fact that Team USA is capable of ass raping the gay Spaniards by 37 and the best Spain can do is 'come close to tying it before bowing out by double digits and complaining like bitches about refs who suck in general' says it all ..

  • It´s so easy.. if the rules of the match had been aplied correctly, now SPAIN WOULD HAVE THE GOLD MEDAL.

VIVA ESPAÑA!! orgullosisima de ser de este pais

  • loool good one...

Do you have any idea who are team USA's players?

  • quit crying!!! Spain got their asses handed to them by the same team two times.

  • not really the second game was crazy, spain played their asses off; kobe just hit some big azz shots dwn the end and wade hit a 3 to extent the lead too. That was the best match up of the olpy.

  • Spain should've never even been in this game .. go sit down and accept that USA are THE BEST IN THE WORLD yet again

  • USA with the shit in the ass all the match. BIG SPAIN !!!

    PD: Sorry for my english

  • whe got lucky uffffffffffff

  • The refs stole the gold from spain.

The USA made at least 12 points after travelling, plus they always gave them the continuation rule, but almost never to spain. Fiba wanted USA to win, it's a shame.

  • Lol just b/c ur mad ur team didn't mean doesn't mean u hav to blame FIBA. Look, only the Spaniards seem to say "the refs caused them to lose the game." Making excuses, it's a shame for ur team.

  • lol did you watch the game, cause spain was throwing shit on the court and everything, plus spain was traveling as well a lot

but, both teams got away with a lot spain got away with a lot of pausing fouls and usa got away with alot of fouls as well. Overall it was a fair game; both teams really wanted it

  • Spain lost... AGAIN!

  • A lot of haters on this comment board.

  • spain is the best!!!! with FIBA´s rules, USA don´t win never.

    With good refeeres, spain win

  • The facts about his game is that spain played the best game they could possilby play and still lost by 11. THey got within 2 in the 3rd and the USA pullled away then again made rediculous shot and were helped by the refs by going to the the fould line and cut the lead to 2 again in the 4th quarte but the USA pulled away again to win by 11. Even when spain plays their best possilbe game they still lose. No way their talent matches ours. Spain can never beat this USA team

  • usa + referees= gold medal..

    but congratulations

  • Sorry but i desagree.

    usa+referees+dope=gold medal.

    Much better.

  • Haha Spain was lucky they made it as close as they did. No way they can shoot over 60% in everygame and they still lost. Why since when does doping help a player shoot free throws, jump shots and three pointers. Your fuckin idiot. Gasol is the only better player compared to our roster.. Go shove that silver medal up ur ass eurotrash

  • randog108 + planetafutgol = excuses.

Lol there's something called olympic drug testing that every athlete has to take, and the US basketball players have never failed one...

luck + referees = Spain making the gold medal game a close game.

  • Personally I loved the USA dream team, it was how I got to love and got to play the sport. However, I got really disappointed when recently I found out that the USA team does not in fact undergo any doping controls. They only do drug tests (for drugs not every doping enhancing drug) and that is actually part of the agreement signed with the commitee in order for the USA to participate in the event.

I loved the dream team, they were my heros dammit, but it's hard to look at them the same.

  • Drug's ARE doping enchancing drugs..Why would u think the US takes drugs anyway. Just b/c their the best doesn't mean they take drugs. O MICHAEL PHELPS TAKES DRUGS. No he doesn't, u c? The NBA also has tight control over doping and the ppl on the US team hav been in the NBA for a few years now.

  • The U.S. never signed no such agreement and it is just a blatant lie

  • First off spain isnt any where as good as the USA on talent alone. Secondly USA had more fouls then spain and the refs constantly let spain get to the line from the second quarter on. Third SPain played the best game they could possibly play by shooting 60% and still lost by 11. Haha spain sucks even when they play their best

  • one,two three and the ball out!not one, two, three i take a cup of beer four and finally pass, and of course how many 2+1 go for spain in the same condition, all time for USA...and like childs with his medals jajaja.Amerika is the WC of Europe don,t be so prepotent

  • I see it! great ball game!

USA your the best even your beatable you have proven yourselves again! Congratulations!

  • with the help from referees...

  • Refs called more fouls against us then spain. Look at the 4th quarter with a minute left, spain was trying to fould only commmitted 4 team fouls. Stop with the excuses. The referees let spain go to the foul line and make it close. Kobe and Lebron were in fould trouble in the first half and hardly played. Spain playedd their best possible game by shooting over 60% and still lost by 11.. You all suck compared to us accept that and move on

  • Somebody who finally makes sense by presenting facts and not saying stuff like US played by different rules (which can't be proven.)

  • cry baby!!!

  • USA have a great team, they don,t needed help from referee.i would like to see the mach in the same condition for both.GO SPAIN!!!

  • Both teams got calls that wasn't st8, but don't blame the refs. The refs done a good job of calling foul for both teams. I got the game recorded and i seen alottt of foul that both teams got but wasn't called.
