  • Wow, i know those are bowling shoes, but me imagining a kimono with set of nice set of sneakers is a strong artistic statement! Years, ahead of its time!

  • @ForceOfWizardry Interesting! Thank you so much! :)

  • Hooo, I wanted to see you fight "Strike Force" with Kimono. LOL. :D

  • In Japan the streets are manicured, clean, and narrow. The homes look very warm with wood finishes and Earthy tones. You looked great in the Kimono, and the wood shoes looked great too....and it was so nice that nobody thought that you were out of place your traditional dress. If American's dressed up in Early American clothing, they would think that we were recreating some very special event. It is very uncommon to see anyone dress in Early American clothing...it is not considered traditional

  • @BlackSwanTactical Thank you so much! :)

  • @BlackSwanTactical I agree with everything but one thing, as I've been to japan and keep hearing it alot, inside homes it's veeery cold in in winter. Pretty much only thing that heats the house are small heaters in each room that is turned on manually when one wants.

So cold in japan during winter since it's cold inside aswell tbh^^. This coming from a person in sweden, where it is now -20 outside but almost too hot inside my room. xD

Still, no reason to stop loving japan <3

  • so did you go alone that day? or did you have a camera person with you?

i think you should have more people in for such an event, like a "traditional-clothes-party" :D

oh and by the way are those fighting games to be found in many gamecenters? or are they quite rare? since the first things i wanna do in japan this march would be visiting a batting-center and a game-center and i love those boxing games :D

  • @orbulon I went there with my friends :) The boxing games are found in many gamecenters. Thank you so much!

  • So, in Japan, the bowling balls are made to look like basket balls!? Why? Also, why is nearly everything in that fun place written in English?

  • @tuberpie68 Well, there are ordinary bowling balls as well in that place. I don't think the basket ball like bowling balls are common in Japan. I think they use English because they want to create Western atmosphere. :)

  • A great frame composition: a mad exercise between two decent walks on the street.

It really amused me. Years ago, in Paris, I had tried some of these games, but I remained an amateur, just like you. I saw Japanese kids were crazy about "STOMP" dancing plate - they must be born talents on that field. Next time you should try that too!

  • @urbankheki I would like to try "STOMP"! Thank you so much!

  • I would love to wear a kimono just for fun! But in Australia, that would be very strange >_<

  • Oh! Very beautiful kimono and obi also looking excellent. Perfect combination!

  • 2:33 is so cool and forgive me Yoko san if I offend you, but I think it´s hot when women fight in movies or for fun. The kimono also add to it.

    yoroshiku onegaishimasu ^_^

  • @pekinobo So you think I'm cool and hot? Thank you so much! \(^o^)/

  • @Yokomaririn Yes ^_^ . Don´t knock me down now. Warai ^_^

Have a great sunday and be safe

  • super awesome!! ^_^

  • Davvero suggestivo l'abbinamento Kimono-giochi moderni!

  • is that YUI on that large tv screen :3

  • I love your kimono! More videos please!

  • wow! you beat that punching bag hard LOL

  • Very enjoyable video, especially the bowling segment.

  • Very fun video to watch! The kimono, and the way you wear it, is so beautiful. Nice contrast between wearing kimono in noisy game center and quiet alley (which looked spotlessly clean).

  • @oggejop Thank you so much! I like the contrast too! :)

  • YESSSSS MORE KIMONO <3 <3 <3

  • I was never any good at bowling or pool either, because I never did them. Neither appealed to me. But, with the right people anything can be fun. And you seem like the right people.

  • @JunmaiShu It was the first time for me to play pool game. It was difficult but I enjoyed it :) Thank you so much!

  • sweet video... beautiful!

  • wow awesome! nice HD video too!

  • Beautiful girl for a beautifully made and intelligent video mixing old and nowadays Japan. Saved on my pc.

  • @medtner1970 Thank you so much! :)

  • So you bowl with Basketballs in japan?

  • First 19 seconds of video is a very interesting place - very climatic. You made an impression on me when you sat in a kimono on a motorcycle. Is it really possible? You look in the kimono also great.

  • @jdn2 First 19 seconds was filmed in Gion area in Kyoto. The area is famous for the traditional streets and houses. And it's possible! Thank you so much! :)

  • You look like you'd be alot of fun to hang out with. I want to go bowling now... haha

  • :-) at every video of yours !

  • That looked dangerous bowling in kimono. I was afraid for you. Demo kawaii desu. Lol!

  • :-)

  • That was funny. Your videos always make me happy.

  • lol cute :)

  • Cool!

  • how much does a kimono cost ??

  • @tareqjj The Kimono in this video was about 100$ or so :)

  • lol bowling in a Kimono looks tough! But it looks like you had tons of fun...which is all that matters. Also, your pool(billiards) game looks top notch..lol! Have a great week Yoko san and have fun!

  • @dre3k78 It was the first time for me to do billiards game. It's impossible! :)

  • That was fun! Do you wear kimono quite often? Is that common where you live?

  • @chargerfryar Yes, I wear Kimono quite often. But I usually wear Western clothes when I play bowling :)
