I met Peaches Page, though I didn't know at the time that she was THIS Peaches Page. She was living in Florida. Joe the Jockey from this movie had been a long time boyfriend. She had aged considerably but her presence was pretty much the same as in this movie. She was a very TALL woman. It was clear that she'd seen a lot in life but she was likeable in a sort of scary way.
Produced by George Weiss who also did Glen or Glenda, the Olga roughie films -- Olga's House of Shame etc. -- and dozens of similar sleazy exploitation, nudist colony and burlesque stripper films.
Terrible acting... LOL. And blatant objectification of women. So 1950s! Check out how she's shown "jogging," and "jumping rope" in that skin-tight sweater. Geez... In a weird way it all reminds me of Mad Men (not the bad acting part of course).
this was movie about women wrestlers were exploited by the promoters. like what vince does with the wwe divas. he makes a ton of money off them. and they only get 250.000 a year.
it's also available as Wrestling Women USA i belive. the dvd features this whole movie as well as several matches from the fifties (?), and a seventies (?) semi-competitive apartment-style tag match

The guy with the dark hair and the moustache was the narrator of "Glen or Glenda", an Ed Wood classic!
