Мда, хоть кто-то понял в чём суть? Лада гасит удар от столкновения двигателем и тем что было под капотом, а дэу корпусом, что в свою очередь чревато тем, что водителя и пассажиром может зажать в кузове.

lada and daewoo are both crappy, as u can see, daewoo used the lada as an extra crumple zone, the lada absorbed the energy of the daewoo, that means that the lada loses, and does not mean that the daewoo wins, try smashing that little yellow car on a wall or suttin, this will be fun to watch, thx for the vid:)

It seems that daewoo absorbed energy from lada. Daewoo bounces back but lada just stops. Some of ladas kinetic energy is transfered to daewoo. Although I dont know mass differences between those cars.

you can find daewoo matiz-es witkout airbags- I have one from 2003. However, this does not mean that daewoos aren't safe and very reliable cars.

Daewoo came to the UK in 1994 and every daewoo car came with airbag(s) as standard.

There is a major technological difference between daewoo and lada. gmdaewoo/chevrolet is much more advanced and we shouldn't even be comparing the two companies.

Lada is made from materials so strong that eaven now some new cars are weaker than lada. And Lada in it's construction have a very good frame(special thing to make the construction stronger) eaven now new cars price less than 20k don't have something like that. So if i would chose daewoo which makes tv's Microwave oven, cars or Lada witch makes good cheap, cheap with gasoline usage and fast (up to 170+ km/h) I would chose LADA!!
