  • Not ashamed to admit I was crying like a baby during this.. This song means so much to me as I've been going on holiday to the mull of kintyre every year since I was born and I'm 32 now, not missed 1 year proud to admit. Paul like I know there is something very special about this place hence why he wrote this song so I urge anyone who has never been to definitely go, in particular to Southend as the scenery is spectacular!

  • This makes me want to go out and get piss drunk.

  • Terrible singer? Fuck me, have you got it wrong. And i was at this live show and for a guy pushing 70 he eclipsed every concert i have ever been to in my life. His voice, his energy and constant enthusiasm for what this man does is unparalleled. And i truly mean that. Paul Mccartney plays for 3 hours with not more than a few minutes break each time. NO-ONE does that. Especially at his age! No-one.

  • Absolutely outstanding... I was there and cry watching it back. Truly awesome.

  • I was one of the pipers and it was awesome. Super incredible.

  • John Lennon was the best ever Musician ever that there ever was, his music will never ever forgotten

  • Is He a Fairy With A Tartan Skirt

  • MY brother is in the pipe band!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I was at this Concert.

    It was Superb.

  • 3 hours of a great concert. Paul rocked at 68, done fantastic, no change of outfit, thiswas a great concert. No one can say any defer. xx

  • i was a few rows form the front best night ever!

  • I was at this concert. never seen anything so amazing.

  • well worth every penny. Had a great night.x

  • HE IS AN EMBARRESSMENT TO THE UK!

  • @Jonathanm178

You like Cliff Richard so you really don't have a say in the matter. Why the outburst anyway? did you rip your tights this morning?

  • @brunts59 Sir Cliff is a musical icon who has sold records by the bucket load and he was doing that a whole 5 years before paul! Sir Cliff can actually sing also!

  • @Jonathanm178 Cliff richards is cursed to being on loose woman while Macca is doing sell out concerts around the world so thats one big fuck you to you.

  • @Jonathanm178 your a dick

  • @AndreewHD yes i do have a penis but unlike pauls mines in the right place and not on my head!

  • @Jonathanm178

Oh really? Explain (if you can).

  • @Jonathanm178 so you went to the concert?

  • a faveorite Macca song...I especially luv the full Scottish Bagpipes and Drums!! Cherrio Macca!!

  • @1Phoebus did you go to the concert? At 68 he was on the stage for 3 hours without a break. put the young artists to shame.

  • @wilsonwendy Saw Macca in San Francisco last weekend. A wonderful concert and he was onstage three hours without a break. And, he could have filled another three hours with all the hits in his songbook.

  • @NoirFan01 i loved him as a child, whata great night I had.x

  • @wilsonwendy yes he might have been on stage for 3 hours but to be fair he cant sing and hes past it.

  • @Jonathanm178 i suggest you shut up - you are now trying to criticize "THE most succesful musician and composer in Pop Music History", don't try any more - his millions of fans will stand up for him - you can't out chat all of us... don't go making an idiot out of yourself...

  • @davyjones800 BARF! yes he might be the most successfull but thats because there are many musically deaf people in this world. John Lennon was the true legend. we all know that. AND SIR CLIFF tops the lot of um.

  • @davyjones800 no ta. you need to clean your ears out

  • @Jonathanm178 I cleaned them before I went to this concert thanks. Cliff is great, only a fool would question it -he was the icon of pop - BEFORE The Beatles arrived and took it over straight away. And seriously... you don't like McCartney so suddenly he's terrible? You want to know some of the world records McCartney's broken?

  • @Jonathanm178 Here's some World Records. "Most succesful songwriter" Paul McCartney. "Fastest seling album worldwide" 1 By The Beatles, which sold 13.5M copies in the 1st MONTH. "Most diamond albums" - making The Beatles the ONLY act to have won 6 of them, Lennon and McCartney's "Yesterday" had the most (1600) versions recorded between 1965 & 1986. Also, "Most Consecutive No.1 Singles In UK Chart", "Most Albums On US Chart Simultaneously", "Most US Chart No. 1 Albums By A Group"...More?

  • @davyjones800 big wow! statistics don't mean anything! he is an awful singer and why always refer to the beatles to back him up? they split up years ago. and the beatles were only successful through lennons genius. mccartney just uses the beatles all the time coz he knows him on his own would not mean anything. he wouldnt be here now if it was not for lennon.

  • @Jonathanm178 Awful singer? Correction... you don't like his voice, so please tell me why you were on one of his songs in the first place..?

  • @davyjones800 yeah hes a terrible singer. some friend dared me to listen to him to see how bad he is.

  • @Jonathanm178 terrible singer? Well I wonder why The Beatles had him and John doing the lead vocals most of the time... You don't like him, that is quite clear to anyone, so why don't you go listen to something you like now instead of wasting time.

  • i was dreadin him playin this but just think we were the only place he'd of played it the concert was amazin well worth every pound spent me and ma son had HH seats but just went down the front wall of BT Stand fkn brilliant

  • @jlsfanlolol no shame in this song, the 3rd biggest selling single in UK history. fantastic melody!

  • Me too:-)

  • I was There!
