Dogs can sense an earthquake: I was on my back deck swinging on a bench and my dog had run up on the deck and looked at me terrified - he wanted to sit beside me. As I listened to the radio, it announced that we had just had an earthquake in Ontario. I spoke to my friend down the street who ran out of her house scared. I felt absolutely nothing because I was on the bench swinging but my dog's behaviour signaled that he sensed movement that he wasn't used to.
I really don't give a shit about the how good or bad the filming is, this makes a very good point about showing that we need to pay closer attention when an animal is freaking out for no apparant reason.
