Indeed, Speed was on 150cc, CPU were set on Hard. Sometimes you can drive PERFECT and you're gonna lose because the first didn't get hit with items very much, so it's impossible to reach him at times. Anyway, I have 3 Accounts on MKW, each with 9999 VR, of course not cheated or something similar.
btw when you were in last place how did you always get 3 mushrooms? Did you use a hack? Or were u just lucky enough to get the mushrooms al the time at last place

You can change some settings in the VS Rules, for example 50cc, 100cc, etc.
There's an option which lets you decide of what items are going to appear. Just choose "Strategic" and you get only Shrooms, Shells, Bananas...
It would be very easy if you get Stars, Shocks, Blue Shells and so on... ;-)
