When people say "Black metal", I think of Immortal. Can't help it. And their imagery isn't overtly satanic which is refreshing. Its just crushing, ass kicking music.
I'm not a great fan of Black Metal. I actually don't give a shit about most bands, but Immortal is a very different case. I really love this band, it is by far the best band within the genres you may call "Black Metal", perhaps only matched by Dissection, which I also like a lot. Their music is epic, well played. They don't just scream "Satan" and make horrible noise like many other bands.
Totally fucking EPIC! One of the finest Black Metal songs ever written, by anyone. Abbath and Demonaz, the best song writing team in Black Metal ever. Long live the Brothers Grim! Oh and I love Abbath's "Bastard" V, badass guitar! Horgh- the best metal drummer of them all imho. Awesome quality video, thanks.

@onlyreallifematters There's no such thing as "real black metal" What black metal is, is what you want it to be. It's how you feel it, it's not a "sound"
