Excellent video - you make a great presenter - do you have an beginners guides to the hm100 - the official instructions are rubbish. I would pay a small fee to learn how to use the gain things or setting camera up to load HD onto you tube etc.

The only issue with ALL JVC prosumers is the OIS system, that actually is one of the worst out there. Other then that it's a great camcoder. Shame on JVC.

Isn't it a bad thing that the footage is so "contrasty" and saturated before being graded. I would have like to see a less saturated picture if it was ungraded and get to see how it handles non black shadows. Otherwise it looks great if you just want film tourist stuff or birthdays.

This camera would be lousy if this is raw footage. Super contrast, vignetting, and and inaccurate color. Defiantly edited in post. No doubt.

I don't think it would be "lousy" because everything I've seen from everyone using it looks great. Even kids playing outside with people walking around shaking the camera looks like a movie lol. It's insane. But this does look processed like the shadows are too perfect..

I am actually working down here in Recife as an internist; I am a medical doctor here. But my main hobby is multimedia tho; I was at that square that you talk about in here, where the Kaplan center is, it was nice being there.

Why is there vignetting (shadowing in the corners)? It is especially evident at 5:22. That, and the yellowish, rather washed-out color makes it look as though you are using a 35mm adapter on the lens, which I am assuming is not the case. These are very odd artifacts for a new camera. Were you using a "old film-look" preset or did you apply effects and color-correction in post?

Wow awsome!! What's the battery life like? Hows the image quality in MP4? I use both Adobe Premiere and Sony Vegas with after effects, but I know that Vegas and Premiere import .mov files so would it work? Great images btw! Very impressed!!
