LOL I actually saw this on the big screen at the American Cinematheque a couple months ago, I'm happy to report Joe Terkel (the bartender, also Terrell in Blade Runner) spoke after, he's 82 now and looking good (glad for that, I like it when people make it - artists do their best work 80-100, it they make it). He talked about Nicholson going into a 10 minute improvisation in one of their scenes, Kubrick just sat there, then said "Well, Jack, that opens up a whole new can of corn." heehee
