the cable that went to the gas pedal did not have enough play. it moved only about 3 inchs and the pot has about 6 inchs of movement. that was speaker wire it pulled the arm the full movement. its a redneck quick fix.

Does it have power steering? Well I guess you wouldn't need it without the weight of the engine. What about brakes are they the same as original?
