@darkstarXSI Yes, this session was recorded in 1968 and if you want to buy the dvd, it is available at the Berliner Philharmoniker website or at Amazon. Look for Beethoven - The Symphonies/ Herbert von Karajan, Gundula Janowitz, Christa Ludwig, Jess Thomas, Walter Berry.

@harryjordanou It might be the Berliner Deutsche Opera Chorus, in a different verision ( 1977) it's the Wiener Singverein. The soloist is Walter Berry, why should help find the right version! ( this the 60s one)
I listenned to it a million times and every time I listen again is always epic.
