  • But I have reason 2 believe we all will be received in Graceland!

  • nothing special

  • Though I'm from SriLanka I have made the USA my home for 29yrs and have made the pilgramage to Graceland like millions haved. I have heard of the king of rock & roll even in my country and I must say I concur w/the millions in calling Elvis Presley the King of Rock & Roll.

  • @Belastgeui The TMOE version is good, but he misses out loads of the lyrics!

  • I like the way Paul scans the crowd with his eyes, Yes every musician does this, but Paul's eyes seam very different. I fist noticed this when watching the Paul Simon video taped in Zimbabwe

  • I like the way Paul scans the crowd with his eyes, Yes every musician does this, but Paul's eyes seam very different. I fist noticed this when watching the Paul Simon video taped in Zimbabwe Call me Al, concert zimbabwe / South Africa

  • my dad's favourite

  • Love this video!

  • Shivers down the spine the second this song starts. The atmosphere during this performance must have been out of this world.

  • So ironic that african musicians lay the foundation for a song about graceland. And make it one the musically sophistacated songs ever performed on the subject.

  • WHY THE HELL IS THIS NOT ON DVD

  • 42 people are not in Grace of Music...

  • Amazing talent!

  • 42 ARE MAD

    THIS SONG IS BEAUTIFUL

There's a girl in New York City who calls herself the human trampoline.

    And sometimes when I'm falling...

    flying...

    ...and tumbling in turmoil,

I say "woah, so this is what she means."

  • 42 dislikes are people who are young and don't realize Paul Simon's music was here long before youtube was for them to dislike this video. I'm only 24, but this still brings back family memories.

  • @Sillyjake86 Saying young is a big generalisation

  • The concert's taking place in Central Park, in New York.

    Absolut GUT!!

  • "The Missippi Delta shining like a National Guitar" The home of Elvis, and Sun Records which helped give rise to the birth of Rock & Roll (1952). " I'm following the river down the highway to the cradle of the Civil War. And I'm going to Graceland into Graceland Memphis Tennessee but, I'm going to Graceland. He is most definitely singing about Elvis home-Graceland in Memphis Tennessee. Poor boys and little girls of families and we are going to Graceland"

  • My traveling companion is 9yrs. old he is the child of my first marriage. I've reason to believe we both will be received in Graceland. Was most definitely going to do a concert with Willie Nelson down in Tennessee and was wondering how a New York City boy was going to be received by the folks down Graceland way. Now I might be wrong on this, I just see things in black and white and don't read much into nuance. Maybe someone can set me straight on this.

  • This shit rocks. Hahahahahahabwuahahahbwuhaha! Joshua wears woman panties and so does Lindsey. Barth wears bras and Micheal likes Bernie Mac.

  • This band rocks, the bass player is amazing too!

  • No, that's just his african backing band. They rock :D.

Ladysmith do vocals and dance in some performances.

  • I Love It!!

  • One of the best BASS PLAYER... I don't know whoever that guy, i can't see him.

    Who performs bass track?

  • Bakithi Kumalo, is the man who you are looking for.

I'm pretty sure he's the one your looking for, as he was the Bassist from most of the album.

    Brilliant man.

  • Thanks for the input, i will investigate him closely.

  • i think the bassist plays a frettless.

  • Excellent! Saw him play with Stanley Clark here in Cincinnati. Up close!

  • According to Eric Cartman, every black man can play bass.

  • That's a dump racist statement/

  • keep cool^^

  • Great 5 *****

    Thank Eulangels for sharing

  • toda la vida lo vi paecido a chespirito.

  • Paul is wearing "Flat Stanley." Elementary children send him on adventures around the world. Cool that he is with Paul Simon. Google his name if you've never heard of him.

  • No, idiot.

  • He's just got a unique way of playing it. Listen carefully and you can hear it.

  • This was a big concert in Central Park, New York about 1991. I wasn't there, but the concert was heavily publicized. Great song and probably the best rendition of it ever. Always remember the lyrics..."Calls herself the Human Trampoline", Too Funny! Thanks for posting!

  • We have the video of that concert =)

  • well give it back u thief

  • What did I take? My mom BOUGHT it. On the back of the video it says that this was a free concert xD And 720,000 ppl attended. Wish I could have been one of them

  • When did this concert take place? was it 89?

  • I think 1991 quite sure

  • enjoy the song, wonder what the puppet on his jacket is suppose to represent? Guess I'm not quite cool enough to have already known...

  • paul is the MAN

  • GRACELAND!!!!!!

  • There are lots of comments about the best singer/songwriter and many names are named. Paul Simon, John Lennon & Jim Croce, that would be my holy trinity. Best song written would be American Pie by Don McLean, and 2nd place goes to James Taylors You´ve got a friend. But tomorrow I might decide for another song. These I mentioned will however always be at the very top of my list.

  • You've got a friend is a Carole King's song.

    I love Mr Simon!!!!!

  • Well its a throw up between Paul Simon and Don Maclean for the title of best song writer of any generation

  • er Paul Simon's Band

  • Agreed. Can't leave out Dylan or Cat Stevens either though! The 3 greatest imho.

  • If any of you guys are interested, I've written a song as a tribute to the king himself, so don't hessitate visiting my channel. Any comments are more than welcome,

    Thanks in advance.

  • The Graceland album is great from begining to end, allways loved it and still do :)

    fantastic!

  • There must be 300-400 thousand people in that crowd!

  • 750thousand to be exact

  • mhhh

  • I also absolutely love this music because of my father. I know every song of the dubble CD from inside out. It`s the best man.

  • Because of my Dad i love this mans music, we played this song at his funeral, everyone wishes they could be in graceland eh

  • I learned this name 5 mins ago (with If you'll be my body guard). He has a great talent!

  • I Thank my parents every day for raising me on this music. Every time I hear Paul Simon's voice it makes my hair stand up; man he's beyond gifted. Lets all go to graceland

  • Hes got classmusic, which is even more impressive if you hear his voice, which isnt really strong :P
