I have the same kit in Red Sparkle. That plastic on the hoop is a protective plastic. I removed mine.

the plastic film on the bassdrum is just for the finish, they put it on tvs phones ext

What are the skins that come with it like? any good? and also whats the snare like?

@Pixarjpb123 the heads are ok, but I have replaced the snare and the high tom heads. They are one ply. The snare with a new head sounds WAY better than with the stock head. The snare isn't the greatest drum, but if you tune it right it can sound great
