  • Did she have dsld on all legs???

  • I cannot say. it was obviously in the back legs. She only had lameness in the front legs a handfull of times, and since her front legs were so crooked, who knows what it was. She was clumbsy too. I miss her though. sweetest horse on the planet.

  • Let her R.I.P. // She looked so sweet and playful// Hope you best luck//

  • Yeah im pretty sure that Tigerlily is happily running in heaven.. You know God already has everything planned out for us and only he knew why he did this. The thing is that i have a 10 yr old mare that i bought a couple of months ago and i'm thinking that she was developing dsld because when she did run she took about 5 seconds to gallop and when ran top speed she will make sounds, i think she had dsld since a while back like yours beatiful horse did. i cold hose water her for about 10 min peace

  • Good luck with your mare. Lily had a severe and unmistakable case...if your a vet. Most horses are diagnosed thru sonogram or autopsy....sad really. Undiagnosed unpredictable recurrent lameness. Luckily she was happy and sound most days.

  • Sadly, my beloved Princess TigerLily passed away on 9-5-08 due to complications from a disease she had for 7yrs and was only diagnosed 3wks ago. A youtuber sent me a link to a DSLD site. I was told to put her down before she became too bad. God played a hand and she suffered a comlication that she could not recover from. We miss her dearly. A video will follow this of her and her last painfull days. She is pain free now on the other side of the RAINBOW BRIDGE. Goodbye my Friend..Love you!

  • She gallops and does roll backs when she is playing. She has had bad days over the years, even bad weeks. But over all she has been happy and sound. You can see when she moves though that she could not hadle alot of heavy riding. Her biggest problem is getting up after a good roll. But since she lays down about 5 times to roll while turned out, I'd say she doesn't care. Cuz you aint a horse if you can't roll!

  • I can't believe that so many people have seen this and not said anything. Do her legs seem to bother her at all? She is lovely and seems to be a very sweet horse. Congrats on such a transformation.
